Découvert récemment grâce à Internet. Je suis tombé sous le charme. C'est beau ! En 1975 j'avais 10 ans. Quand on a été imprégné de la musique d'une époque, cette musique plaît toujours même 50 ans plus tard.

Never heard this before, but the combination of voice and video made me cry. Dean wasn't really promoted well in England, but You Tube are making up for that now, selecting new podcasts daily. I'm being introduced to his brilliant talent 2 years after he died. I hope his loved ones are aware of that and realise he's being appreciated by a new audience.

É verdade eu só vim conhecer a banda e Den Ford no ano passado e fiquei apaixonada
@aliciarobertson49799 ай бұрын
You’re correct that the promotion down in England wasn’t strong but Dean was well respected in Scotland. 🏴He, and Junior Campbell’s “Reflections of my Life”, recorded by the original Marmalade was a world class hit which is a classic in 2023. This is also a gem 💎

Dean had the best voice and the cutest smiling grin. Absolutely adorable. He looks like a small man. Not much on him though. Seems like a private man. Kinda like a sad man too.

I wonder if Bob Dylan and other singers would have thought if they had heard their "Chauffeur" sing what they would have thought? I'm thinking that it would have blown them completely away, to say the least. I think that his life would have been totally different, and we could have had so many years to enjoy his incredible talent...

Thing is with Marmalade, the "B" sides of their records were always as good as the hit "A" side. Bless Dean Ford, that wonderful voice lost now. I treasure my Marmalade stuff, though the autographs have faded, the records remain.
