His son died in a military flight training mission.. he was a pilot and a member of the National Guard.. and I truly believe.. it destroyed Dean's soul to lose his son. Yes he had other children.. but losing a child, his namesake.. just hit too hard... Have to say.. his voice is just so soothing and amazing.

c Dean, was a Favorite of mine. He was cool and enjoyed his style and voice. Dino's son died in a Air National Guard Reserves traning accident.

The late, great Kris Kristofferson wrote this amazing song. and I just recently heard that Al Green has a version of it.... I've never heard it.. this is my first time hearing Dean sing it.. I've only known Ray Price singing it..I love it. and I want to hear Al Green sing it. A great singer makes you feel the music.. anyone can sing a song.. but to make you feel it.. that's different.
