@@mtlspider my experience is good with the hardtail version. The tone is pretty dead on with what it shown in this video. The neck is really comfortable and easy to play. Great for fast playing if you're into that

@@ShredworthyDave i like medium sized necks from jackson or my mexican evh bumblebee for example.ibanez necks feel too thin to me.hopefully will get to check the dean out very soon.

Elaborating a bit more on it (and this is from memory, as I don't have it with me anymore), the neck felt similar in shape to my Ibanez JEM Jr. (C-shape), but thicker and easier to hold; curvier than the typical D-shape RG wizard neck, but still very easy to go fast with it.

I use to own a 1988 HM strat. It was amazing but the spyder trem sucked. The new HM strats are better actually. Honestly I think I would rather own one of these Deans because the trem they put on the HM strat now isn’t too great either. They should have put on a real floyd.
