Finally figured it out. Remember the main singers in The Band, Richard Manuel, Rick Danko, and Levon Helm? They all sounded so Americana and soulful. If ever The Band could have included a female singer, she would have sounded just like DeAnna. That's it ... that's why we love her voice.

This is my favorite version of this song, I think Deanna's voice for this song is even way better than Allison Kraus! We were all voting for DeAnna to win but we got cheated, lol. We wondered why she didn't choose Blake since she likes country. I really think she would have won or at least finished higher because if she went with country songs & Blake, Blake's fans would have supported her, which could have made up the difference. Was so surprised and excited to read she won Miss Georgia! She is so beautiful. Can't wait to see what's next for her.
