I love it, the colors are so cozy. I can see a picture rail between the picture and the bed with small framed photos and tiny decor. It would add intimacy and add to the maximalist vibe, plus give your husband a sense of purpose by hanging another thing. Also, perhaps mounting the mini lights to the back of the shelves, it might create a halo of light instead of seeing the little bulbs. You did a great job!

I love the rug. I love the color of the room. Not too crazy about the bookshelf. The pillows at the head of the bed look nice, but after a while, they get old (on/off). Beth, instead of buying new frames for the two artworks over the end tables, just spray paint them. Try to find an antique gold so it isn’t so bright. Or maybe an antique brass? And if Mark is adamant about a bed frame, look for one that would match the curtain rods. A black iron bed would be beautiful in your room.

Oh I think it looks SO much better without the headboard and footboard!!!! I like it with the pillows lining the wall. You could try some bigger pillow like Euro pillows and it might be even better but the ones you have look great. I do agree with you that the matching pillow shams are too much. When I do shams on my bed I will usually do a pillow with a coordinating pillowcase in front. Then it breaks it up some.

​If you had four of the same sized pillows. You could put two of the matching pillow shams to the spread on top of two other pillows of the same colour as your sheet set. You stack them at the top of the bed, where the headboard would be. Then two of the decorative square ones in front of them and then you buy a decorative bone shaped pillow in a complimentary colour and design. Just an idea. ​@@feraltradwife

Okay, I am still laughing! Here you were all Zen, soaking up that sense of accomplishment, then you open that door. It's exactly how I would have reacted. lol Your bedroom turned out lovely. I have a wall-mounted headboard. I like it. I watched some of your other videos, love-love your sense of humor. 1. Green-chair-delivery-guy: Your gut was telling you, really loud, that you were seeing a predator. However, you had some good deterrents and I bet he took note. Sweetest puppy bubbas can turn into teeth-baring, slobbering, monsters when their family is in danger. I bet they could smell that hater a block away. Love your entry-way bookcase and decor - good job! 2. My neighbor and I always joke about the fall of civilization (in a joking way - sorta) and we say when everyone is running down to the grocery store, we'll be at the dog food store, stocking up on Rachel Ray's "Simply Nourish" grain-free, adult cans of dog food. All of the shredded meat, stew blends. I'm telling you it's the best danged dog food I've ever smelled. You know how you pop open some cans and they smell like fart? Not these. They are actual food and smell awesome. 3. Lastly, I've been struggling with re-upholstering my dining room chairs. After many times of trying, I realized the "batting" around the foam, and the "silky-like" fabric on the inside of the cover allows the cover to slide on easier. When you approach those cushions again, try putting the foam "under" the batting. ?? Just a suggestion, but it has worked for me. I'm really enjoying your videos. As long as you enjoy making them, I'll enjoy watching them.

Hi there! Just a couple of ideas for you. Why don't you get an iron/ metal headboard to go with the style of the curtain rod? They are not that expensive. And your bed looks like it's king sized. I am not sure if you know this, but there are king-sized pillows and shams. You wouldn't have to have so many square ones. I am sorry if you already know this. Sometimes, things dont look the same on camera.

The next bed I get won’t have a footboard. For one thing it’s harder to make the bed. I’d probably get something like talking about for a headboard. The bench is so cute by itself you don’t even need a pillow

I must admit, I kept anticipating the next video, expecting a disaster. The idea of dark green paint and painted molding seemed outlandish, but I was genuinely impressed. I think I'm over grey now too. You've inspired me with some great ideas. However, I'd say "no" to the pillow on the bench.
