Reading comments here. Your home is beautiful. This is a normal mess for life with 3 kids. Just do what works for you and don't waste time and energy explaining to everyone and certainly not to trolls and gaslighters. I find for myself, it’s best not to let things get too messy, because it will be too much to clean after. Plus a messy space gives me anxiety, so if I’m unwell i delegate some things to my family. Children are almost never too young to help, even if it’s just them picking up their things. I like to finish one room at a time, and leave the floors till last.

Hi! I'm new here. I just found your channel, and I subscribed. I feel this so much. I work two jobs, and I'm a mom of three. My house often gets out of control, and I'm left cleaning it all at once. I really want a cleaning routine, but at the end of the day, I'm so tired. You did such a fantastic job! That was a very satisfying clean. It cracked me up so much how you went to all the trouble of brushing off your ottoman so that your clothes wouldn't get pet hair on them, and then allll your pets came piling up there to check it out. Sweet Potato is a stinker lol, and I love it! I have couch cushions like that, and I let my girls jump up and down on them, and it floofs them up nicely. I'm not a fan of my glass cooktop either. I've seen others use the pink stuff paste on them, and it got that burnt on residue off. I haven't tried that yet though. I have white sinks and white countertops, so I have to use clorox cleanup a lot to keep them looking white.
@feraltradwife10 ай бұрын
Welcome!! We are all new here, most of all me. Which hopefully explains away some of the messy editing, lol. Honestly, get the book How To Keep House While Drowning, by KC Davis. With two jobs and three kids I can’t imagine you are doing much else beyond treading water! That is HARD. I’m so glad my disaster and cleaning made you feel seen. I was looking for cleaning inspiration on KZbin and everyone was deep cleaning their already perfect homes and it made me feel worse about mine. I swallowed the embarrassment and just filmed. It was incredibly motivating knowing I had someone like you watching right around the corner. Thank you for the sub! You don’t know how much it means to me!!

@@feraltradwife To be fair, I'm a married mom of three, and my husband helps me a lot, or I'd never get anything done. Facebook has been suggesting that book a lot lol. I'll check it out. I saw on your other video that you did the Hard 75. I had to google what that was. Which diet did you follow? The 45-minute workout outside I'm not sure about, but I think I could do it otherwise. I'd love to hear about that experience!
@feraltradwife10 ай бұрын
Initially I did intermittent fasting, which was okay ish, but I was eating terribly during my eating window. Halfway through I switched to good ol counting calories and maintaining a deficit. I tried and failed hard 75 several times since March, but managed to complete it this summer. The outdoor workouts were a beast. For a lot of them they were evening walks outside with my husband. I loved it because we were able to reconnect without the distraction of screens or kids. Just 45 min of walking and talking. I’m going for it again this January. I needed to get my health under control in a big way and while I’m in a much much better place than I was earlier this year, I still have more gains to make!! I loved the experience, I really recommend trying it!

G'day, Feral Tradwife! Admittedly, I never learned what a tradwife does, but thanks for this interesting glimpse into your life and very beautiful home. I can definitely understand how much time is consumed with homeschooling, taking care of multiple pets and one's hobbies. One thing that might help you with your workload is to see if your (home)school age child/children can do some basic tasks like putting away things in their respective spots, placing soiled clothes in the laundry hamper and, depending on age, maybe helping out in the kitchen a bit. Maybe this could be part of homeschooling, albeit not an official part. My other suggestion would be minimal music during your videos, meaning low volume, instrumental, or simply none at all so it doesn't compete with your voice. I hope that these suggestions prove helpful for future videos, since you stated that you're new at that.
@feraltradwife10 ай бұрын
I love your suggestions! We are adding in day to day tasks in the schooling, as the twins are actually autistic so much of our focus is functional independent living. But man, does it just get away from us sometimes. I really appreciate the music comment as well. I’m really struggling with regulating the volume of my song choices, but worried it would seem too boring without? I finally tackled my laundry room and am editing that video now. I’ll use your tip and use instrumental and keep it more in the background.

@@feraltradwife you don’t need to scrub or rinse your dishes. Just scrape the food off and stack correctly. That is the key!
