Just to point out that it's pratically a pattern when each new hunt quest is out there are folks who says hunting the monster quite challenging and the rest who dissapointed about it. There some people be like dissapointed with Raging Brachy fight, dissapointed with MR Kulve Taroth and now dissapointed with AT Namielle. Guaranteed that would be folks who dissapointed with Alatreon in term of difficulity of the fight and saying that Alatreon in MH tri is more challenging.

@@themeow-sician1664 They change AT Xeno so much because the base Xeno have rooms for improvement since it's slow & sluggish not just adding new moves here & there you know. Beside, it's quite hard to make new moves for each monsters for the sake of difficulty without not looking too similar to other monster that shares the same skeleton. If you remember AT Kulve Taroth, the new moves she has is basically recycled Nergigante's paw slam & Xeno's sweeping laser beam (since AT Kulve has paw slam that cause molten gold burst on the ground & sweeping heatbreath). Since you already did AT hunts back in HR, you should expecting that not all AT Elders are gonna have a lot of differences from their base form.

I soloed tempered namielle like 20times i recommend leaving your palico behind so his attention was all onto you that should make his move more predictable and more accurate to dodge using LS

DG got the full armor set took me 2 times for the solo and lost 2 with randos then me and my boy dave got 3 dubs in a row and then easy work love the fight aggressive a lot of aoe but she got clapped and of course congrats on ur solo dub

I got it Solo first try no faints with the Lightbreak Long Sword, I did have to use my vigorwasp but I slotted some water and thunder res into my build, I also used the water mantle cause it makes mobility much better when the terrain is covered in water

Honestly I solo'd it on first attempt with 25 mins 38 secs but it was a challenge. It wasn't a pushover, unless of course you're a HBG whose just sitting back spamming. It was strategic and although not a massive amount of variety to her moveset, her damage was enough to make you play more defensively. Anyone who would say she is a pushover would be the first to say "AT is so broke" like AT Kirin or Nerg back when they were out. Personally they have rescaled AT to a stage where they provide a challenge and aren't just a regular namielle with stupid damage and health that makes the same fight drag on and on. It hit harder, had a tolerable health boost and had an aggressive player actually having to play safe rather than just relying on Health Regen II. I respect the fight and although shocked at how easy she was it was only due to the fact that from fighting the old broken format of AT. That left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel like the fight was gonna just be a Namielle with 200% health, ridiculous damage and nothing else. This is how AT should be. Stronger than tempered by a healthy amount, a fight where you don't get mentally fatigued, and something to show that unless you're the top of armour and weapon quality then you're gonna face crazy opposition where it is something to consider fighting alone to not just learn more as a hunter but also not have cart central from lazy hunters. GG DG and Capcom for making ATs what they should be.

Her hitzones are excruciatingly bad. I've just been cheesing it with long gunlance so I don't need to deal with my melee attacks doing a quarter of the damage they should unless almost her entire body is tenderised.

It may look like a rant but I aknowledge that Dear Gamer plays LS better than I do for most parts, MHW is a complex games so I also handle some situations better(we both have our shady areas, I have more ^^. This build looked puposely hard mode on her, not really good at countering the mechanics and not exploiting weaknesses either. I think the issue was the build. I kill her reliably in between 13 and 17mn, often deathless playing an old school luna build ^^ I barely touched in a while(because it just works so it is my only ls build, I use it to solo poison weak monsters). 4 gold rathian(I use 1 alpha for poison status I think) + a good standalone piece(I think I went for a kulve piece), you can also go safi weapon for 2 pieces brachy and challenger charm 5. For mantles I went rocksteady, water but temporal is fine. Also used hard water res charm. I went blast on palico as it is few free procs and I feel it is more reliable. Also on palico, mewlotov all the way, always dishes out some damage in longer runs. During the Safi event, you'll probably poison Safi 3 to 4 times while having very ok raw, it is not optimal for Safi Jiva, it can work but you need at least 1 mate with elderseal if you play like that, and LS is particulary bad at breaking the parts as alone it is challenging getting forelegs tresholds and at more than 1 you bounce your mates. I recomment charging on backleg and helmbreaker where other mates are hitting to push the breaks.

So heres all differences ive gathered from arch tempered namielle: -She starts watered and In lightning lvl 1 -Shes dripping water now so water puddles now apear under her. -Her gathering water move is now much faster. -Some of her front leg punch attacks create waves. -She kinda has a new attack wich she does In the air. She does the 1 lightning wing stap in the air 3 times and faster. But thish attack is very rare. -She can Now do walking foward shooting a water beam attack mirrored but it too is rare. -Her watered + level 2 lightning super move now creates a bigger explosion. -She stays more often after the super nova attack. -She gets enraged after you clutch claw her into wall no matter how many times you made her turn before that. -Her wings Become hardened when in watered mode. Also all ammo do 0 damage to her wings when they are hardened. -She enters Lightning level 1 and level 2 much faster. -Her walk forward and shoot a water beam tracks you now. -Now sometimes when she gets up from being clutch clawed to the wall she instantly does the super nova attack without even geting enraged first Thats all ive found! So a lot of small changes.

Beater it in about more than 15 mins. It was a little tougher than expected at first, but then I put my cat on shield spire and that made things 50% more easier. I used charge blade for this battle
