3:48 you have no idea how happy I am to hear this from you. Every time I see a comment that says "this episode *was* wrong" instead of just "I disagree with it", I think what the hell gives them that autority to say so? If you think you're always right when you and DB disagree, why are you even listening to what they have to say?? It's borderline hypocritical when people will say DB is not always right, and at the same time act as if they themselves could never be wrong. Oh and great QnA lol.

Here's the thing, it's not about authority. That's just being tone deaf. Authority has nothing to do with it. It's about the fact that many Death Battles have been blatantly wrong and/or bias in some manner that doesn't do a character or either character justice. It's one thing to have an opinion, it's another when you try to skew information to favor someone over the other and then act like it's the correct outcome. People have a right to voice whether or not they agree or disagree with an episode. I know I have my fair share of episodes that I think have wrong outcomes like Akuma vs Shao Khan and Might Guy vs All Might. (Although the fight itself was amazing and is one of my favorite DBs of all time.)

@@ShogunPlasma oh I know DB can get facts wrong, I'm not saying they can't. And obviously you can disagree with whatever you want. I'm just saying I think it's really stupid when people act like they can't ever be wrong, and if DB says something different then DB is automatically wrong. Why is it possible for DB to miss something but impossible for you to miss something? People should not be taking DB's opinions as fact, but that doesn't mean their own opinions are infallible. And it's about mindset for me. Like I said, if you're going into a DB saying that your mind cannot be changed, no matter what DB says, you shouldn't even be watching their analyses.

I don't necessarily disagree with Obito beating Vader, but the way they handled Vader's research was definitely...odd. I'm not against DB prioritizing Disney canon and using Legends as supporting material, but pulling a Legends feat was certainly weird.

I'm onboard with Vader VS Obito with the understanding that Disney canon is being prioitized, but it is undeniably an odd choice to use a Legends feat as their main crux in that case. They've done non-canon-but-supported feats in spotlights before, but when what is and isn’t considered canonical to the character is a huge part of who wins, I would have changed the script. And it still bothers me how Vader is the only character where Disney canon was proritized. The episode itself is good enough to make up for it ten times over, though.

I too disagree with hulk vs broly. The actual size of the marvel universe was never truly looked into until lex luthor vs doctor doom came out three episodes later, and then with the analysis in Thor vs Vegeta and goku vs Superman 3, I can easily say that hulk would definitely win if they were to do a redux of that fight. Also it would be amazing to have a new awesome soundtrack with a few references to ikari and an artwork that represents both characters and not just broly (if you look at the artwork for the ikari soundtrack, there’s literally nothing hulk related in it)

Despite the things they have said about some battles that I didn't like such as Darth Vader vs Obito (great example you brought up) and Phoenix vs Raven, I wish they would just do better with their research and not take things out of context. There are obviously a lot of fights they got wrong, or right but their reasoning didn't make sense, but everybody has opinions and I can respect that. Hopefully, Death Battle will be back doing more animations.

Been a while with the Q&A, but glad to hear your thoughts on these questions. Especially the disagreements parts as I agree with all of them in being outdated. Varder Vs Obitio felt odd especially since Legends was canon to the series til Disney destroyed the series. Minus the opinions, it's great to have these talks to show passion to Death Battle as a show. Hope the future is bright for the show after the shutdown. Great episode, and can't wait to see your next Q&A. Here's my Question: What is your funniest favorite moment from Death Battle related? Mine has to be a tie from the Death Battle Cast, both between the Out of Context Spider-Man Nut Shot and ALL of Torrian Quiz fails of remembering Gimli. Superhand is my third choice.

And I've laughed at a lot of DB related stuff, but two that really stand out to me a lot are the "That Man" conversation from Ragna VS Sol and everything from the animation to the end of the conclusion in SpongeBob VS Aquaman. I could definitely think of more though. If you moreso mean something from the extra material....yeah I would have to say Superhand lmao

As in "Ben should've won" or Green Lantern wins? I doubt it (unless they've changed their minds) The creators of Death Battle did a DB Cast not too long ago about Kyle vs Simon. It was a long discussion about who would win. One guy was arguing Simon has higher dimensionality than Kyle, the other was arguing that due to DC's Cosmology and Kyle's ridiculous scaling, Kyle would win. However, Simon got more votes. And there is a G1 Blog that shows how and why Simon wins.

I kind of liked this and I will answer as well since I'm a fan of the show. 1Q. When I learn and starting watching DB? 1A. I was looking on KZbin for strats on the Megaman X Legacy Collection doing the X challenges (2 bosses at once) on the hardest difficulty and saw Sigma v Ultron. I at first was hesitant, but as I watched the episode and the next one (I believe Jiraya v Roshi) I started watching every episode since and watched all the old ones as well. So I started with Sigma v Ultron of all episodes. 2Q. Favorite food not snacks. 2A. Easily my favorite restaurant is Chipotle. I could live there, but my absolute favorite food is BBQ Baby Back Ribs. 3Q. What franchise that was on DB did I get into. 3A. My Hero Academia. My college friend showed me a episode and I was hesitant, but after watching All Might v Might Guy I went on watching. I was still hesitant on the show until season 2 where Deku fought Shoto and since then I loved it. 4Q. Dogs or Cats? 4A. 1000% Dogs. I had a Jack Russel Terrier and he lived until he was 17. I now own a Cavilar King Charles Spaniel who is currently 3 and absolutely love her. 5Q. Greatest Fear 5A. Bees 100%. When I was little, I get stung in the ear and they have freaked me out ever since then even in my 30s. Even the buzzing sounds freaks me out. Never got through that fear. 6Q. Any disagreement on DBs? 6A. Obvious answer is Yang v Tifa. Tifa was extremely lowballed, and it was more of a RWBY promotion than a DB. As for recent I wouldn't say I disagree but question the numbers more than anything or how they were used. Like for Obi-Wan v Kakashi they used everything including legends for Obi-Wan and Kakashi was kind of nerfed, but then for Vader they only showed one legends feat while Obito was given EVERYTHING including Madara's Rinnegan for Ten Tails while Kakashi wasn't allowed Obito's eyes. Another example is Thor v Vegeta. I agree with the result, but when did Marvel's universe became that big out of nowhere since they never mentioned it before? Would that have changed the outcome of Hulk v Broly cause Vegeta with Ultra Ego could be compared to Broly in some way. Regardless I hope DB survives and wish them all the best of luck.

I think Makima vs Gojo is wrong for two reasons 1. Makima extra lives should've made her survive Hollow Purple, because I believe it's not regeneration, but more similar to respawn and such. (But I do agree that the Domain Expansion would've killed all of her Extra lives, except Gojo) 2. She had a way to escape the Domain Expansion, thanks to the Spider Devil.

1. We know her Contract works like a healing factor because when she was torn to pieces, Kishibe wasn’t even sure she’d come back. 2. Theoretically possible, but she would never get to know how his Domain works, summon the Spider Devil, *then* jump through it in time. Gojo would have nuked the Spider Devil around this point anyway, and he can just his Domain again.

Bowser totally would beat Ganondorf it's not even a question. And one where the OUTCOME is correct but they attributed it to absolute irrelevant bullshit is Red vs Tai. Yes absolutely Greymon stomps Charizard. But it's because Greymon is just that much stronger, not because of some weakness that only affects draconid data monsters. We have no reason to believe that Dramon Destroyer would be effective against non-digital dragons.

I absolutely love the episode but Jesus it's a stomp in vader favor first of all they didn't even calculate the fact that Vader fly a spaceship that literally travels around the Galaxy and in fact I'm pretty sure he's taking some out on the ground, which means his reaction and combat speed should be faster than light to much faster than light. You know the same thing and they gave to stitch in the last episode and not even that but if vader scales to palpatine then he should be solar system to Galaxy and even if he was trapped in the kami dimension he could debatably break out of it like when palpatine open a hole in space and time all of which are mentioned in Canon material. I mean if we cut the power to and can hold him back the son and daughter because he was Amped those two are still way more powerful then anything in the Naruto verse ,Anakin should be comparable

1. Vader doesn’t pilot ships that just fly through galaxies, they’re system-locked without Hypersace usage. 2 +3. Palpatine has no feats at that level. He needed extensive prep to make his Force Storm (the thing that rips open space and time) which was far lower. He has no way out of Kamui. 4. Vader was only on their level for a brief time where he accessed his full potential as Anakin due to Ashoka and Kenobi being in danger of death. He can’t access that level of power normally.

The episode I disgrace Is scobby doo vs courage the cowardly dog. Ok I love that episode to death but it shouldn't have been a tie in my opinion courage should have won. He was alot stronger and smarter then scooby. And the fact that courage actually fights monsters in his show wile scooby deal with people in costume (well not zombie land). And the fact they side that the that crossover they have is cannon wile is not. In my opinion courage should have won but that my opinion still the best episode in season 10

Until you add A Pup Named Scooby Doo, everything that happened with him and Prof. Pericles in Mystery Incorporated, the Cyber Chase movie where he outsmarted a super computer corrupting virus, Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue, and the crossover comics where he's fighting alongside Justice League members, even has his own Lantern Ring that he keeps. Especially the first show. Scooby's toon force in that show puts him on the level of the Animaniacs.
