This show really took the “Oh no! Anyway” route with Katharine’s death. In reality, while delirious with childbed fever, she insulted her husband repeatedly and accused him of tormenting her. Her last words were how she hated him. Now THAT would have been satisfying to see.

I feel so bad for Queen Catherine. She married four times and never found her true love. The first two were arranged by her parents and then she had to wed a King who was a literal tyrant who could kill her at any moment. Then, she finally felt like she could be happy with Thomas since she loved him so very deeply, but he never cared about her at all. In real life, he wasn’t even fazed at his wife’s death. She deserved a proper husband who could love and take care of her. RIP Queen Catherine Parr, you were a great wife for many.

It's saddened that Katherine Parr died, but I also have sympathies for her baby daughter, Mary, as she never knew her parents very well, because they both died when she was very young and she was left an orphan💔 Never knowing who they were and what tragic fate had overcome them. It is possible that Mary died young as she disappeared in historical record at the age of two. It's a tragedy as she could have lived a longer life and perhaps a happy one unlike her parents. It is said that Katherine Parr haunts Sudeley Castle, the place where she gave birth and died. She is dressed in green and she is searching for something or someone and it may be possible that she is trying to find her daughter💔

@@Lily1127channel I know, I had a c-section and almost bled out, then caught a fever and had water in the lungs, if not for modern medicine I would have suffered the same fate as Queen Catherine Parr and Queen Aemma from house of the dragon. Even with modern medical care I still almost didn't make it. Not berating you for your comment its valid and true, just Catherine's quick death is much easier for me to watch then Queen Aemma's horrific bloody death or queen Jane Seymours slow painful death in the show Tudors, knowing how easily that could have been me.

Catherine Parr didn't die suddenly. She had childbed fever. That wasn't a quick death. She died the same way as Jane Seymour. House of Dragons is all about dramatics as was Game of thrones. And the more horrific, the better the ratings.

I'm reading Jane Seymour and kathrine parr, in Jane Seymour I've learned that htomas is younger than Edward and ot was always Edward with power and succession, and I believe that made yhonas more jealous and hungry for power and fame. I do believe that this xene is true when thomas Cries for cathrine to see the one he loved dead. Yes he might have been a bad step father to elizabeth and treid marrying elizabeth by trying to king Edward 6th so he can marry elizabeth become king. I'm so glad king Edward arrested and had his head chopped off because that execution lead him to death and hopefully is reunited with cathrine I know these two were madefor each other. Actually that would not have happened as she was around 10 when Edward died. It was not really a marriage that they were mentioning here, but a marriage treaty that was agreed to by both the rulers of Scotland and France. That treaty was signed in 1548, when Mary was 5 and the Dauphin was 4. The actual marriage took place on April 24, 1558 (10 years later), which was 4 years after Edward VI passed, and 7 months before Mary I passed. Around 9 months later Mary Scots between Queen Consort of France when her husband became King Francis II. There was talk of Jane Grey marrying Edward but by the time they became of age Edward was dying.
