Bro, look at Ian Bicks' situation. KID trying to be an entrepreneur, very smart got in over his head and screwed with no lube. 100%, it's only because she's a female. Judges shouldn't have this much power, a life can be saved or destroyed depending on a judges mood.

True believers in Christ and the Lord honor forgiveness. She made a terrible mistake and has mental problems that need to be addressed. She’s been castrated by the media and this’ll last her lifetime. She’s had no prior history. She deceived people and was wrong. But this, I believe, looks like someone genuinely sorry and I never say that. She got a life sentence and doesn’t know it. Welcome to the Age of Social Media.

"For all cancer patients and their families...this girl deserved prison." Revenge is a very bad motivator. 1) jailtime costs the taxpayer ten times as much as all the money she made with her fraud. 2) in jail she will grow angry with those who exposed her and she'll want revenge. A bit like you do right now. 3) in jail she will learn how to better disguise her fraud next time. 4) after jail she will not be able to get a job because the US citizens will not give her second chance (they are incredibly stupid) so she will live off of social services that THE TAXPAYER pays for. 5) Without a job she is MUCH more likely to return to crime and steal from... can you guess who? Essentially, you think she's going to jail to think about the bad things she did and come out a better person, but in reality she'll come out with barely a future and you and the cancer patients will be paying for the rest of her life. Well done. Very clever.

I’m an actual cancer patient and this story makes me sick. I’ve gotten lots of money given to me from super supportive friends/family/strangers and it’s sickening that this woman could take advantage of peoples generosity like that. Not only does she have no shame, she completely throws dirt in the faces of patients like me who have to go through all the pain of treatment and the looming thought of early death potentially coming.

100%!!! First, I'm so sorry for your diagnosis and everything you have to go through for treatment as well as the emotional toll it surely takes on you. I pray for your recovery and your strength. The scamming of money is egregious in that it could potentially take away from actual people such as yourself that may need that money in a fight to survive their diagnosis. To think that her actions could cause someone in desperate need of help to do with out turns my stomach. The fact she used the harrowing and sorrowful stories of actual people's real experiences and passed them off as her own was completely deplorable. How anyone could stoop down so low is beyond me. She has no human decency and zero shame or accountability for her actions and no regard whatsoever for the ppl she hurt with this charade. I don't believe we the people will be quite as forgiving of her as the judge has been. She needs to fully understand the gravity of her actions. I think she needed prison time followed by community service to be performed at various facilities that focus strictly on cancer patients and every aspect of what they go through. From treatments, to daily life, to the emotional toll, the physical pain, the fear. She should have had to perform community service front and center at places that focus on all of the different issues that sufferers and survivors go through. I wish you all the best and an abundance of blessings and I'm so sorry that you were so disrespected by such a narcissistic sick minded individual. Stay Strong & just know there ARE people out here that really care and are cheering for you and everyone else that walks in your shoes. God Bless ❤

She didn't get special treatment. Did you not watch and listen to the judge breaking his decision down? 😂This was a just verdict. It was her first offense, no one physically got hurt, she didn't use a weapon; she still has a felony on her record because it wasn't deferred, and she will pay restitution. Not to mention social embarrassment from being caught. This is how verdicts should be. Not vengeful or punitive. The US loves people in cages. Not every crime deserves being caged. Those people who u seen go to prison, was it similar to her case or was someone hurt or use a weapon?

So in my eye's what she did is disgusting taking advantage of caring people who wanted too help someone they believed had cancer. And it's a slap in the face for all those who are actually battling the disease of cancer currently and can barely get by in these rough time's we all live in these day's.

Thx for the reaction, Joshua! I feel like the judge is prob a pretty good dude but he should been alot more stern during his reprimand and made her feel the gravity of what she'd done and the shame she brought to herself. I also feel like it would have been more appropriate for her to have been sentenced to a 5 year prison term. With good behavior she would have prob been released within about 3-31/2 years. It would have given her time to reflect more on the seriousness of her actions and the effect it had on others as well as made for better accountability. It was horrible enough that she scammed kind hearted ppl out of almost $40,000 but what nailed it for me in feeling like she should do real prison time was hearing that she took actual cancer patient's stories of their fight for their lives against a terrifying diagnosis and painful medical treatments to fight their disease and presented them as her own. That is one of the most twisted and sickening things I've ever heard. She is truly a shit person that lacks empathy, compassion, accountability, maturity, and common human decency. She didn't appear to feel guilty or ashamed for what she's done. Barely even able to squeeze a wet tear from the lash line of her eye. I don't feel like the sentence offers much of a deterrent for someone of her mindset. What an absolute narcissist. Thx for putting her stupid face on blast for 744,000 ppl to see. I'm sure the public won't be as kind to her as the judge.

It's 3 years with no errors! The ten yrs. Is what she would have been sentenced if not gotten probation! Or say she royally screws probation up and violates it a few times then she will have to do the ten yrs. Or depending what state she is in about 80% of that tops so 6 to 8 yrs in prison.....
@Sonofagreatdad

@@s5005 I don’t believe you are correct. She is sentenced to 10 years suspended. If she commits a crime the sentence goes active.

as a nurse I am all for jail because she took money from those with cancer in whatever form, donations, etc. and also jail would have been a better deterrent for others. and yes I believe she WILL do something like this again. only next time she will be a more informed criminal and better able to get away with it. I mean she had everything and she still stole money from people. yep she will do it again.

As someone whose mother has had several bouts with different kinds of cancer I feel she should’ve gotten some jail time. It undermines those who actually have cancer and could benefit from the charity of others. I’m glad the judge didn’t do differed judgement as that would embolden the next person to do it. I’d be tight if I donated money to someone for a cause (which turned out to be false). I’m not wealthy and what money I have I try to spend wisely.
