Some of the militia talked about how their new commander (=Deathstroke) was in prison, did a few jobs for "Uncle Sam" and got out, so I guess it's canon that he accepted Waller's offer.

It was a big missed opportunity that they never had Nightwing interact with Deathstroke in the games because Deathstroke is a Nightwing villain not a Batman villain. Yes he is generally a Titans villain but his primary vendetta is with Nightwing. That is completely true even to this day if you see how the more recent DC comic event Dark Crisis ended which was a climactic fight between Nightwing and Deathstroke.

You know what would be great, if only the GCPD lockdown dlc included deathstroke, so like penguin hired deathstroke to broke him out if nightwing interfere and in away also make it like an apology letter for the tank fight in the main game

I really recommend also making a video about the Gordon family in the Arkhamverse. There's a lot about Jim Gordon's childhood, his marriage to his first wife Barbara and his second wife Sarah Essen (who is mentioned in Arkham City) who was the love of his life. There's also a lot about Barbara and her brother James Gordon Jr.

deathstroke is ssooooo cool and I hate that they let him be underused in the arkhamverse and especially loosing to batman. I think slade is a type of guy that needs alot of people to team up against him to even stand a chance with him.

Yeah they kinda nerfed him, slade in the comics is usually capable of sweeping the entire batfamily with relative ease Most of the fights slade loses is when he’s handicapped in some sort of way, otherwise he kinda just throws Batman around for example

I have a video idea suggestion for you: How about "conspiracy videos" how they would be in-universe talking about who the Batman is and everything that surrounds him. Like the video one of the militia soldiers mentions when he explains to his buddy that Batman is funded by the CIA to operate on US-territory illegaly to do stuff the CIA isn't officially allowed to do. That would be really awesome :D

Not to be that guy, but Deathstroke was originally a Titans villain, not just Nightwing's. (And actually way before Dick became Nightwing.) Sorry, just had to be pedantic. 😂 Still a great video!

in the ultimate visual guide for the arkham games its stated that slade has a cocky demeanor and drops his guard when far from an opponent, thats why batman oneshot him in knight and thats also why in the origins bossfight you can use the batclaw only when he's far and is going to shoot, overall he's pretty busted he fought nightwing who is a near rival to batman and robin at the same time and held his own pretty damn well

With the arkham origins deathstroke trailer fight i'm pretty sure it's in the same night as origins and right after he gets interviewed by vicki vale as bruce which you hear in the beggining of the game on the same bridge

I love how full of himself Deathstroke is. Guy takes super steroids and thinks he’s tough, only to literally be humbled throughout the entire series. I don’t know where he got the idea he was the Deadliest Assassin, because I’d rather take my chances with literally anyone else.

the way i interpret deathstroke in arkham is while deathstroke stagnated since origins (like with him using the same armor) batman improved and that's how he dealt with him so quickly. arkham batman already beat him at his peak in year 2 so to batman at HIS peak he was a joke

Arkham Batman most dangerous villain? We was slapped around my a younger Batman and taken out of commission for the rest of the game. In the Arkham universe he accomplished nothing other then being beaten in the one fight he was one. Such a waists of a good character

Batman Arkham Origins, Pre TN-1 Bane is the most powerful and dangerous villain in the Arkhamverse, Batman only really beat him because of plot armour.

I don't think that's plot armor. IMO plot armor is only prospective. For example, if Bane was thrown into a volcano in Origins, "plot armor" is just you the audience knowing he'll somehow survive since he appears in Asylum and City and Origins is a prequel set before but released after those titles. However, "plot armor" would not be whatever contrivance the writers come up with to explain his survival of that dangerous, almost universally fatal situation after the fact. It's close but I believe it's an important distinction to make.

⁠​⁠@@DrEcho i agree with your point. the plot armour that i am referring isnt doesnt have as fine a line as usual plot armour though. i just dont think that batman couldve realistically beaten (combat wise) Bane before he injected himself with TN-1. Bane is statically a larger, stronger, physically adept person compared to batman. although Batman has more skill in the realm of hand to hand combat, it just isnt enough to realistically make up for the Bane mental and physical capabilities
