I would like to mention that if Joker survived, the knightfall protocol would never occur because, as mentioned, Origins established that Joker wants to keep this game of cat and mouse so he would never reveal Batman's identity as it's part of the "fun". Also most comic iterations show that Joker doesn't reveal Batman's identity even if he had a chance.

To add onto that, in the very last Jason torture scene in Batman AK, Joker asks Jason "the big secret" i.e Batman's identity and when Jason begins to spill the beans Joker shoots him "dead", saying that he "never could stand a tattletale".

The overall plot of AK would be significantly worse if Joker was alive, but one thing I think it would help is the Jason reveal. With how much Joker loves messing with Batman, him dangling the key to the Arkham Knight’s identity right in front of Bruce’s face for the whole night would be incredible. Then revealing that the worst thing he ever did to Batman was a complete farce and that he actually did something even worse. It would also give reasons behind the Jason flashbacks occurring beyond explaining who Jason is for the people who don’t know. Joker would offhandedly mention Jason as a bad joke to get Batman mad, and Batman would start hallucinating like we see in the game. Except he isn’t just being mentioned for no reason, but because Joker knows the truth and is putting the answer “right in front of him, right under his long, pointy nose and waiting.” It would still be a pretty obvious reveal to the audience, but would be less of a slap in the face to Batman for not figuring it out. I could imagine a really funny scene where Batman asks the Knight who he is and Joker butts in before he can answer with “Seriously? I gave you every clue in the book and you still didn’t figure it out? *Sigh* Take off the helmet already kid, he’s killed all the fun.”

The Joker thing likely wouldn't have worked with Batman now. Scarecrows newest toxin has traces of titan in it as set up in both Asylum and City. And Joker points out in his voice mails that Bruce should be seeing hallucinations and he was seeing them and it only played out because of Jokers death and his fear of becoming like him in Arkham Knight after he's gotten the cure. The story likely would've been with a Batman more like he was in City before he died as without Jokers death and Bruce blaming himself for it he wouldn't have pushed the family away as he did in Knight

If Joker was still alive, I could see there being three different factions of enemies you have to go up against: 1. Scarecrow & Arkham Knight’s Army and Allies 2. Joker’s Gang and Allies 3. Neutral parties (People like Professor Pig) Maybe each group could even be divided up between the three islands? The militia could rule Founders Island, Joker’s gang could rule Miagani Island, and Bleake Island could be purely neutral turf with the only major group being the GCPD. Maybe at some point during the story, joker even raids one of the militia bases so now his gang has access to some militia technology to give them a fighting chance, and to make them a bigger pain in Batman’s buttocks. Maybe if you want to add in a bit of irony, maybe the tech they steal is from Malaysia henchman we’ve defeated, which gave them the opportunity to raid their operations.

First, and great video. I personally think that Joker would've hated a city being run by Scarecrow and would definitely have a somewhat uneasy truce with Batman to take down Scarecrow and Arkham Knight(because joker wants to be batman's greatest villain and can't let Arkham knight take that from him). 1 thing i guess is that somewhere along the story joker would find out that Arkham knight is jason Todd, and would hide this from batman while he goes insane. i do agree that there would be a showdown between the three and it could play out multiple ways: 1. batman kills Arkham knight due to the fear toxin and joker virus taking over and realizes its Jason Todd and ends up killing the joker too 2. batman knows its Jason Todd and tries to reconcile but jason doesn't listen and tries to kill the joker (like in "Under the Red Hood" movie) and batman stops him but jason is overwhelmed and kills himself or the joker 3. joker realizes that batman is infected by the joker virus and kills himself with some sort of cure so that batman creates chaos as the "new" joker and the ending plays out like in the original game

Although I could see joker taking advantage of the other jokers, I could also see him wanting to massacre them all seeing as he is a narcissist, and we just see them as cheap imitations. Best case scenario for them, I would see joker keeping them alive for as long as they’re useful and then shooting them the moment the battle is done

Honestly I think a lot of the main story would go down the same way (minus Harley’s involvement and whatever that entails for Ivy’s story) up until the end when Bruce is in the truck being taken to Arkham. Joker definitely doesn’t want Batman’s identity being exposed as we’ve seen countless times so I think he’d let Scarecrow have his fun up until that point when he’d finally step in and attack Arkham and the militia forces there. Maybe Joker was spending his time planning and preparing for this attack while the main story is going on and with the militia being heavily weekend from fighting Batman all night the Joker’s gang would stand a pretty good chance against the militia.

I like the idea of Robin tracking down joker, but it could be cool if Robin, whose been made to feel lesser than Batman since Arkham city, did engage Joker and got captured just like Jason, only to be saved by Jason who could try to turn him against Batman too

The Joker would probably team up with the Scarecrow (but only to a certain point in the plot of Arkham Knight) just at the moment when the Scarecrow is about to reveal Batman's identity. The Joker would probably betray the Scarecrow and save Bruce's secret identity. Let's remember that the clown does not care about the identity of the bat, since it would not be fun for the clown.

Batman would be way more screwed against the Arkham Knight and his militia, as most of his upgrades (mainly the weapons in the Batmobile) that were needed to overcome him were fueled by the death of The Joker and the events of The revenge of Harley Quinn.

I think the Arkham knight would probably attack and killed joker during or before the scarecrow inacted his plan but I don't think that Joker would be able to kill scarecrow

Good video. I think a way it could possibly work out is when Henry, contacts Joker and Harley to tell them about his plan they go to Panessa Studios and it plays out the same but joker escapes so Batman tells Tim to go after joker but Jason figures out where Joker went and goes after him but runs into Tim and Jason fight and Tim loses then Jason leaves. Joker gets Tim and takes him to the asylum and tortures him just like Jason then at the end of the game when scarecrow has Batman joker kills scarecrow then Joker brings out Tim and shows Batman then Jason appears and tells Bruce how can he let the joker torture another robin. Idk what would happen next but this was just thought of what could possibly happen.

I think that it'd end with Batman and Joker being forced to work together. Scarecrow's just getting too powerful that Batman is forced to go to him for help. I'd like to think that Joker would survive City, but would just be too weak and be basically dead. Scarecrow pops up with the idea, Harley's saying no for so long until she finally realizes he's abusive and everything and goes along with the plan. They'd lock Joker up somewhere hidden, but at some point in the game, Babs or Tim would find out about a "secret prisoner" due to the henchmen talking about it and such, so Batman would investigate and free that prisoner, which would be Joker, and say because of the cloudburst or something else, they have to work together, and that's what would push Jason over the fucking edge. Say the Scarecrow confrontation comes first (just with Tim getting up and fighting back, or Nightwing coming in to save Bruce) and then Jason/Joker/Batman showdown where Jason would kill Joker and Bruce would put Jason in Arkham Asylum or Blackgate. Obviously, I'd get rid of the whole Joker-infected people side plot, swap that out for a different mission with Harley Quinn and expand more upon Hush and Deathstroke... Maybe give Prometheus a fucking mission too... Or a really quick Killer Moth side mission that's akin to Mysterio from Spider-Man 2/Rick The Door Technician. ...At least, you know, that's what /I would do/, and probably, maybe not think would happen if they were to do it.

I think the Joker would either kill Arkham Knight not knowing it's Jason, or he figures out it's Jason and then probably brainwash Jason into being loyal to him. I think he would at first use the fake Jokers to do different things around the city and then get them all killed at some point to serve his purposes, and at some point I think he would kill Scarecrow and replace the cloudburst fear toxin with laughing gas

It's a pretty interesting video. But you said yourself, multiple times, why this hasn't been done. "Joker would end up being the main villain" _A...FREAKING...GAIN!_ And frankly, a lot of people simply don't want that. City was the perfect ending for Joker. Origins was, for many, disappointing in how it once again brought in Joker as his big bad enemy. Knight didn't need him, even if I personally think he was implemented well.

batman dying in protocol 10 would make crime go down, the joker still dying and the bat family with gotham If batman found him he would be robin or would have left to be another vigilante If Jason stopped him then he would not have done knightfall If nightwing was in arkham city he would be helping batman behind the scenes because he did not accept robin's presence If Talia lived then batman would have been cured and probably the joker too (I doubt it)

I think if the joker was alive, he would immediately start to take over the city with his army of thugs, and he would be Batman’s first target. With the Batmobile batman would put the joker away first before anyone else. However Batman would have to be forced to go back to the Joker and ask him how to stop scarecrow and would have to strike a deal. Then he would learn he needs to help poison ivy to defeat scarecrow. When batman is dealing with scarecrow later on, he learns that the Joker has busted out of the GCPD and that batman would gave to get through the new Joker security, where joker would plan something big

If the Joker survived Arkham City the plot of Joker being inside Batman's head would be completely removed as the Joker would already be added to the main Arkham Knight story and it's not just the Joker blood making him see Joker but the combined affects of Joker blood and the fear toxin which Batman gets exposed too throughout the game, so the hallucinations probably would've still been there but perhaps as a different character or different events that makes Batman feel like he failed i.e Jason Todd who also turns out to be the Arkham Knight and I feel that it would've been more representative of Under the Red Hood with a side plot of the cloudburst/scarecrow

I think the reason why Joker had to be dead is because everyone knew who the Arkham Knight was going in. So fans would think of it as a retelling of Under the Red Hood. Which it kind of was but, we were supposed to be surprised.

I have an a idea: Joker never dies in Arkham City, Joker had only gone into a coma because he was in connection with Brainiac, in SSKTJL Joker is not a reincarnation of Brainiac, Brainiac want to conquer the world since Arkham City, and then Joker had only gone in connection and then in fact in Arkham Knight he he sees that he awakens while he is cremated and at that moment he is taken by Brainiac, and then Brainiac regenerates Joker making him seem totally new, and like Poison Ivy after being reborn he remembers nothing of the past and therefore there are no particular ties with Harley Quinn.

I do believe that killed Joker off too soon. having him die in Arkham city was a bit unnecessary to the plot as a whole and since it was Batman's end in Arkham Knight, it would have made the best sense to have his most prominent enemy, Joker, to have his end showcased as well.

I feel that if Joker did survive Arkham City then Batman Arkham Knight would go on with some slight changes for example. So as it says there was a meeting between all the super criminals: Riddler, Two face, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, The Arkham Knight, Harley Quin but the Joker is added to the meeting Scarecrow explains his plan but Joker and Harley Don't want no part of it they would focus more on breaking out the infected and try and try and take on scarecrow and the Arkham knight because that's really what all the criminals are doing they all want to take over Gotham with Jason Todd/Arkham Knight he will try and take on Joker when the time is right for now he will stay aligned with scarecrow so they wouldn't be much changes in the game just things done different ways
