My initial thoughts on this debate: • Thank you to both debaters & the organisers, especially MDI for helping set this up and for following it through after several years • Thanks to Ust. Abdullah al Andalusi for organising this Neutral Views: • Both speakers should have had PowerPoint presentations, I spent a lot of time looking up Bible references & interlinear texts to properly follow their arguments • There was a lot of jumping around in the organization of points of argumentation which unnecessarily convoluted some essential claims Contra Br. Zakir: • A neater & more organized opening statement would have helped elucidate his claims. Sometimes it was not clear if he was introducing a new point or qualifying a previously mentioned premise • The brother didn't have to respond to all of Dr. Brown's claims, it took up time that could have been used on more developed rebuttals • Br. Zakir needed to underline the fact that the reason he started off with mention of the New Testament was because it was a means of comparison for exegetical principles used by Christians in finding Christ Jesus in the Old Testament Contra Dr. Brown: • I came away with the impression that he did not want to examine his exegetical principles for the sake of consistency & chose to dismiss or mock points that had serious & overwhelming merit • The "just Google it" answers don't work in a setting like this, it almost seemed as if he lacked motivation to defend his claims & counter-claims • Rarely did Dr. Brown acknowledge that Br. Zakir presented specific claims, with specific exegetical principles, that cumulatively are more coherent & cogent than the New Testament's use of the Old Testament where Christians try to find allusions of Christ Jesus Conclusion: • Some online Christian communities that were interested in this debate allowed a bootleg copy of a professionally organized & moderated debate, to be misused, essentially stealing money from the organisation behind the event. That was gross indecency & ethically disgraceful behavior • Dr. Brown more or less refused to engage deeply with most of Br. Zakir's points by dismissing or denying them. A dismissal or denial of a claim is not a refutation, nor a rebuttal, but a mere response. It seems like some of the pro-Dr. Brown crowd either don't want to acknowledge this or severely misunderstand how arguments work • Br. Zakir's opening statement presented a specific cumulative case using accepted exegetical principles that clearly demonstrated that the Prophet ﷺ is mentioned in some way in the Bible • Yes, the Bible can be corrupt but still have nuggets of truth. In the same way that the demon in the New Testament testified the truth about Christ Jesus (as Christians believe), that one time testimony is the exception to the rule & does not require us to believe everything that demon said Yours respectfully, Ust. Ijaz the Trini.

Dr brown was refuted about Deuteronomy 34:10 even in the mazaretic text it’s a prophetic past tense and and rabbis academics say it rules out future prophets from Israel Dr brown was refuted with regards jesus coming.. Acts 3:22 Peter applies Deuteronomy to moses, actually on a plain reading Peter says Jesus is in heaven now and must await there until all things are restored then he quoted Deuteronomy ”for verily moses said” then he quotes Deuteronomy 18, so how is jesus coming back as moses in his full glory as so called “god”? Dr brown says the servant of the Lord can’t be Muhammad because in Isiah 53 the servant dies, actually from Isiah 40 to 53 it’s speaking about two servants, it’s speaking about the suffering servant which is Israel and it’s speaking about a deliverer moreover even the Jewish scholars don’t even take these verses as speaking of the same person Dr brown says hagarhim proves nothing. according to him, the name of prophet Muhammad proves nothing but for yeshua dr brown has to speak about somebody else and say that’s a type for Jesus because he can’t find a direct prophecy As far as Song of Songs goes dr brown tries to play it down but the Jews had a consensus, the Christians had a consensus that this is speaking about the allegorical meaning, the history of Israel, the messiah. Parakletos can apply to arabic AHMAD (Praise more), As the greek word παρα κλητος (κλειτος) can be broken down PARA + KLETOS, PARA also carries the meaning 'over and above' 'in excess over' - Kletos = glorified, famed, praised, the noun form Kleos is given meaning epainos (= Praise) Meaning of Muhammad is found in the greek term Periklutos (Praised all round)

Luke 24:44 44 He then said to them: “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was yet with you, that all the things written about me in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and Psalms must be fulfilled.” John 1:45 45 Philip found Na·thanʹa·el and said to him: “We have found the one of whom Moses, in the Law, and the Prophets wrote: Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazʹa·reth.”

Hi Billy, Based on your comment I (with all due respect) don't think you understand what Br. Zakir did or why it was relevant to the debate. I hope that this message reaches you in a good way (for clarity's sake). This debate is about identifying a figure (the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) who is claimed to be prophesied in the Bible. That means there are three necessary elements which need to be discussed in this debate: 1. How do we identify prophecies in the Bible & what are they? 2. How do we identify figures (persons) who are prophesied in the Bible & who are they? 3. Given that the Bible is separated into two main sections (Old & New Testaments), how do we assess #1 and #2 (above) between these two sections (examining their intertextuality)? This essentially boils down to establishing the exegetical standard with which Dr. Brown already agrees. For points #1 to #3, Dr. Brown asserts that these passages are about Christ Jesus. Br. Zakir in his opening statement merely presented multiple valid examples of the exegetical principles that Dr. Brown already approves of and uses, when it comes to Christ Jesus. Therefore his use of the New Testament was not irrelevant, but rather essential in laying out the i hermeneutical standards & tools that were going to be used by him (Br. Zakir). Br. Zakir is first asking the question, how do we interpret the Bible (what are the tools we both agree on using), then he proceeded to use those tools on the text. So it is inaccurate to claim it (his points about the New Testament), "...has nothing to do with what's being debated about..." I hope that you can reconsider your claim, afterall I know you want Muslims to benefit from this debate, let's try to be fair where we can. Regards, Ust. Ijaz the Trini.

It seems you did not watch the debate. Just a few examples. Concerning מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים‬, ma-ḥă-mad-dim in Songs of Solomon 5:16 did dr Brown pronounce as well. Dr Brown explained the Hebrew word, the text and the context. It has nothing to do with a name, let alone the name of ‘Muhammad’. The context is a love song, a beautiful young girl (Shulammite maiden) who is in love with a young shepherd bo. So it has nothing to do with ‘Muhammad’. Zakir had no answer for that, he was schooled by dr Brown in a lesson classic Hebrew. Concerning the Paraclete in John 14-16 Zakir was set checkmate by Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown referred to John 14:16 in which Jesus Christ said that the Paraclete was with the disciples, and therefore not Muhammad who should come 500 years earlier. Zakir had no answer for that. Dr. Brown referred again to John 14:16 in which Jesus Christ also said that Paraclete will be in the disciples, and therefore the Paraclete is not Muhammad. Zakir had no answer for that. About Deuteronomy 18, could Zakir not show one example in which the term מִקֶּ֥רֶב אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם, miq-qe-reḇ ’ă-ḥê-hem ‘from their brothers' is mentioned with another group of people than own countrymen. Furthermore, Dr. Brown referred to Deuteronomy 17, which states very clear that a foreigner is not a brother of the Israelites. Zakir had no answer for that. "you are to appoint over yourselves the king whom the Lord your God shall choose. Appoint a king from among your brothers; you are not to set over yourselves a foreigner who is not one of your brothers." Deuteronomy 17:15. So the prophet in Deuteronomy 18 must be an Israelite, no foreigner.

Dr brown contradicted himself when he mentioned Deuteronomy 24 and mixed brothers of the nation and brothers within the nation Dr brown was refuted about the words “from within you” none of the older texts say what the addition later on says, as the scholars mention it was an addition. Dr brown was never able to answer concerning older texts (Part 1)..Dr brown initially never answered the rebuttal about servant coming after the second temple.. (part 2) the interpretation that dr brown gave was being twisted, hagai doesn’t talk about first or second temple Hagai speaks about previous and latter glories, that’s the twisting of the Hebrew. The suptoegent confirms this and hagai 2:3 confirms this. So this person who will bring glory to the temple or could be any time in the future and it’s not limited to the second temple. (Zakir also refuted dr brown in the end about there being more temples and hagai destroying and rebuilding the temple and temple also being the land as other scriptures mention) Dr brown was refuted about “prophet like me” while many verses indicate he will be a lawgiver. Furthermore prophet Muhammad did many miracles and when he spoke to God even though moses spoke numerous times, Muhammad spoke to God on a higher level when he descended to the highest level and directly, so it’s quality not quantity… part 2 dr brown was challenged to show which servant of Isiah 42 brought the Ishmaelites out of idol worship… part 2 dr brown claims Jesus is a law giver like moses because of the sermon of the mount, the sermon of the mount is not a new law and the followers of Jesus were still following the law of Moses and even James challenged Paul to see if he’s still following the law of Moses Dr brown made a claim Jesus performed miracles greater than moses and was challenged to show and give proof.. part 2 dr brown claimed Jesus gave life and raised himself from the dead but moses even gave life to a stick which doesn’t even have heart or brain or other functioning organs which keeps you alive and as afar dr brown mentioning Jesus reading himself up from the dead but according to who? Who saw the physical Jesus being raised up? Paul mentions vision and the context also, the people with Paul didn’t see physical Jesus some saw something but didn’t hear anything some heard something but didn’t see anything

All dr brown is doing is mocking all these scholars, why? Because he knows the minute he admits it’s a prophecy, the Muslims will have a field day. (Part 1) …Dr brown misrepresented Zakir when he mentioned the helper was the Holy Spirit, zakir never mentioned the Holy Spirit and all those who laughed, the jokes on them… (part 2) dr brown said it’s Jesus who said it’s the Holy Spirit, based on what? There’s manuscripts that don’t say the Holy Spirit. Christian history shows it was not seen as the Holy Spirit (even Paul was mentioned as the helper) dr brown the remained silent Dr brown says the Quran doesn’t mention yahweh, the pronoun in surah Ikhlas “HUWA” is a shortened form of yahweh then dr brown is challenged to show where Jesus in the Greek New Testament used the word yahweh, Dr brown couldn’t show niether in Greek or the language Jesus spoke and furthermore zakir gave more proof the God of Israel was called “el” before being called yahweh and there’s also biblical scholarship showing even yahweh is connected to canonite god and exodus 6:3 says that Abraham and patriarch didn’t know the name yahweh

@Find Out Did you watch the same debate that everyone else watched or create another one in your head? Anyway, I'll give you 3 clarifications. * The Israelites and Israelites are cousins not brothers because they share the same grandfather (Abraham). Yes the Edomites would be considered brothers because they're descended from Isaac like the Israelites, but the phrase 'from among your brethren ' usually refers to the Israelites themselves. * When Zakir realised he's losing the debate he tried to change the subject by attacking the New Testament. This is a very common tactic used by Muslims when they start losing a debate. But because Dr. Brown is very intelligent, he didn't fall for it and brought him back to the topic, so he wasn't being 'silent '. * About Muhammad's so-called miracles, you say his miracle is that he talked to God. Did anyone ever witness Muhammad talking to God? And if there were no witnesses, shouldn't that be enough reason for any rational person to conclude that he never did? In truth, if Muslims ever had any evidence that Muhammad was a prophet and that God made contact with him, they wouldn't have to embarrass themselves by trying to find evidence in other people's books using twisted logic. To quote Dr. Brown's words 'can't your religion stand on its own?'

🌅Muhammad in The Bible 🌅After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and Prophet, it was time that God’s promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. {Those who follow the Apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own Scriptures, in the Torah and the Gospel…} (The Quran, Al-A’raf 7: 157) 🌅Bible Prophecies about the Advent of Muhammad Abraham is widely regarded as the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through his second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus (peace and blessings be upon them all). 🌅The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment of God’s promises to bless the nations of earth through the descendants of Abraham (Genesis 12:2-3). Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith. 🌅Blessings of Ishmael and Isaac Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God’s covenant and promise? A few verses from The Bible may help shed some light on this question: 🌅Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God’s promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him. 🌅Genesis 17:4 reiterates God’s promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac. 🌅In Genesis, chapter 21, Isaac is specifically blessed but🌅 Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become “a great nation” especially in Genesis 21:13-18 🌅According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being “free” women such as Sarah, Isaac’s mother, or a “Bondwoman” such as Hagar, Ishmael’s mother). This is only consistent with the moral humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths. 🌅The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham’s son and “seed” and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham’s wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3 🌅After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God’s promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600 years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God’s blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham’s family tree was now fulfilled. But There is additional corroborating evidence that The Bible did in fact foretell the advent of Prophet Muhammad
@faizafaiza6524
@faizafaiza6524 Жыл бұрын
🌅 Was the Shift of Religious Leadership Prophesied? 🌅 Following the rejection of the last Israelite Prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God’s promise to make Ishmael a great nation be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18) 🌅 In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given a last chance of three years (the duration of Jesus’ ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said: 🌅“Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof” (Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael’s descendants 🌅(the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophesied by Jesus: “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” (Matthew 21:44) 🌅Out of Context Coincidence? Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? 🌅Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? 🌅Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of The Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so here is another strange “coincidence”! 🌅One of the signs of the Prophet to come from Paran (Makkah) is that he will come with “ten thousands of saints” (Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad to Paran (Makkah) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka’bah. Says God as quoted by Moses: 🌅“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.” (Deuteronomy 18:19)

@Опровержение even if we say that you are correct and it is not Jesus, the prophet like Moses is still not muhammad. He never spoke in yaweh’s name, he did no miracles, he did not talk to God face to face. So it’s not Muhammad. Jesus is God and he came down and took on the form of a servant. You saying God cannot serve anyone means that God has limitations. How can you place limits on what God can and cannot do? It’s like a boss at work that comes and does the work of his workers. He does not have to do it but he does it because it’s necessary and that’s what Jesus did. And to get on the topic of Jesus, Jesus was a Jew and was presented to a Jewish temple, not a mosque or the Kaaba. This is a historical fact that Jesus was a Jew and not a Muslim. Jesus committed shirk over and over again. He said he’s one with Allah. He said his kingdom is not from this world. Is he an alien? No. He is God and heaven is his kingdom. He says he will answer our prayers. That he is lord of the sabbath. He said anyone who sees me sees Allah. That’s shirk so how could he be a prophet of Allah? Either he’s the worse prophet of Allah because he commits shirk, or, it’s because he’s not a Muslim and that’s the answer. It’s complete nonsense to include Jesus in islam and no one ever did until Muhammad. Muhammad simply tried to appease Jews and Christian’s to get them comfortable with converting and when he failed, he attacked them. He even included pagan Arab practices to appease the pagans so they convert which is why he allowed the prayer to allahs daughters and then said the devil tricked him. Allah was a pagan god and you can Google Allah statue and statues of allahs daughters and you can find what archeologists found. Muhammad was simply trying to make it easy to convert the people around him but had to make his religion a little bit unique.

@@theg-men8961 In the Old Testament, Genesis, 21:21 it is said: "He (Prophet Ishmael) dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his Mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt." Psalm 83: 4-6 talks about the enemies of among others Ishmaelites, and Hagrites (Hagar being the mother of Prophet Ishmael). Psalm 84: 4-6 "4. Blessed are those who dwell in your House; They will still be praising You. 5. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on the pilgrimage. 6. As they pass through the valley of Baca. They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools." There are several interesting points in the above verses. The name Baca could be Hebrew whereas the word Makkah is Arabic. Added to this the fact that there is a designated House of God built by Abraham, peace be upon him, in Makkah where yearly pilgrimage was performed from the time of Abraham and Ishmael, peace be upon them both, even to this day. The valley of Baca could indeed be the same as the valley of Makkah. The above verses seem to place Hagar, Ishmael and their children in the valley of Makkah where Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing of God be upon him, was born. Isaiah, 21:12-17 mentions "12 ... In the forest in Arabia you will lodge ... 15 For they fled from the swords , from the drawn sword, from the bent bow, and from the distress of war." (Probable connection with the enemies mentioned in Psalm 83: 4-6 quoted above; also settlement in Arabia is confirmed; the verse 16 which follows, also confirms these verses are about Ishmaelites, Kedar being the 2nd son of Prophet Ishmael). "16. For thus the Lord ... all the glory of Kedar will fall. 17. And the remainder ... people of Kedar will be diminished ... " Isaiah 42:1-13 - These are very moving verses about "God's elect servant" who will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. A point worth noting is that Gentiles are the non-Jews and it was confirmed by Jesus, peace be upon him, that he was sent to the Jews. Moreover Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, is consistently named by God as Mustafa which means 'elected' and 'Abd' which means 'servant'. Prophet Muhammad always referred to himself consistently as the 'Servant of God'logically speaking, if I wanted to ask about the place where any famous historical figure lived, the most correct information I shall get would be from this figure’s people or tribe and offspring, for they would be the ones most knowing of his history. If I wanted to learn about Queen Elizabeth, where she lived and where she was buried, I would ask the English people, not the Chinese. Since Ishmael P.B.U.H. was the father of Arabs and one of the most famous figures in their history, therefore the Arab tribes are the ones who are most knowing of the place where he lived, not anyone else. As inherited by all Arab tribes, even before the advent of Islam by centuries, Ishmael lived and died in the place they call “Makkah,” and he built the sacred mosque there with his father Abraham at the sanctuary called “Bakkah.”Blessings of Ishmael and Isaac Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help light on this question: Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him. Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac. In Genesis, Ch. 21, Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become a "great nation" in Genesis 21:13,18. According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of the mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths. The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600 years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of family tree was now fulfilled. But is there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?The Awaited Prophet was to Come from Arabia Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Makkah). Indeed the King James Version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name for Makkah) in Psalms 84:4-6. Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on the earth." Verse 11 connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad. Muhammad's Migration from Makkah to Madinah: Prophesied in the Bible? Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Madinah according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one coming from Paran. That holy one who was under persecution migrated from Paran (Makkah) to be received enthusiastically in Madinah was none but prophet Muhammad. Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned to Islam.

He wasn't able to tell the audience who is 'that prophet' from John chapter 1 who is identified as being separate from Christ. Neither was he able to tell us who was the Messenger of the Nations. Daniel 2 and 7 refers to Babylon, Medo-Persian, Greece, Rome, and then Papal Rome during the period of the divided fourth kingdom. Christ’s kingdom comes after their rule. However it needs to be made clear that Christians aren’t slaves to scholarly opinion. The scriptures speak for themselves and the basis for the understanding of the prophecy is in the Bible itself. Not all scholars agree on the identity of the kingdoms particularly from the divided kingdom period anyway. And all of this bears no relevance to the obviously false prophet muhammed being in the Bible or not. This a false distracting challenge as knowing the kingdoms of Daniel 2 and 7 contribute nothing to the subject at hand!

Paul mentions vision and the context also, the people with Paul didn’t see physical Jesus some saw something but didn’t hear anything some heard something but didn’t see anything “The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear” Deuteronomy 18:15, Here moses is speaking to Israelites so when it says your God will raise up for you, “you” and “yourself” is all of Israel. Israel is being spoken of as one person, the pronoun is speaking of them as a singular person and God is speaking of them as a singular person then the brother cannot be the same person, the Hebrew is in singular, God said among “your” and “you” Israel in a singular brethren so now who is the brother of the singular person referred to as Israel, who is their brother? because Israel cannot be its own brother. Moses is speaking to “you” and “your” and “you” and “your” the singular pronoun is referring to the whole of Israel as one person but this person comes from the brethren of singular person for Israel, now Israel cannot be the brother of Israel so who is the brethren of Israel? And this verse proves this unless the prophet is from gentile nation Deuteronomy 34:10 “Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face”

As a Muslim I can easily agree-since we believe in God, and in what was revealed to us, and what was revealed to you. And our God and your God is one & the same-and to Him we surrender ourselves completely. But know that you have NOTHING to truly stand upon, until you uphold the Torah, the Gospel, and EVERYTHING else revealed to you from your Lord. So if you embrace the Qur’an-which no doubt proves itself to be the pristine revelation of the God of Abraham-then it is truly better for you, and for your own sake. But if you turn your back on its message-the words of your Lord-then know that God is not blind to anything you do. And bear witness that we devote ourselves entirely to God. All praise be to Him-the God of Abraham, the God of Noah, the God of Moses, and the God of Jesus, the son of Mary-the Lord of all the worlds. He alone is worthy of worship; God the Ultimate & Absolute, who neither begets nor was begotten, and who has no co-equal.

@reneandjohn
@reneandjohn Жыл бұрын
It seems you did not watch the debate very properly.

They will kill him, and after three days he will rise." Yet Muslims deny the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ." Jesus also said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's. clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Thats not his point, his simply showing the double standards of prophecy. And brown tonight like all christians proved his piint again. Christians go into such fragment and detail and atomic level to expose muslim claims even attempting to connecg hebrew and arabic word yet have 0 problem with the errors in isaiah 53.

@david Chabi What Spirit led YOU to do what Jesus R_E-B-U-KE-D? I mean why are you cry-bab-ying about Zakir's point of being consistent and applying the same for both Jesus as well as Muhammad. By saying that it makes no sense, you basically called the practice and preaching of Jesus of the Bible as 👉 nonsense. So really you need to think honestly as to what Spirit led YOU to do such stuff which Jesus RE-BU-KED. Yeah how would you accept Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when YOUR FAITH made a H.E.R.E.T.I.C of Jesus of the Bible. The Bible testifies. 1) Jesus: ✅ THE FATHER (SINGLE PERSON) IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD. John 17:3. (The Muslim agrees with Jesus) Christians: ❌ NO. The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Triune-God / Godhead The Trinity / One God in three persons or whatever you want to call it) is the true God. 2) Jesus: ✅NO payment needed, NO Jesus died for us. Just repent sincerely and the Merciful God (THE ONLY TRUE GOD - THE FATHER) forgives. (The Muslim agrees with Jesus) Christians: ❌ NO. Salvation comes by the blood of Jesus and his dying on the cross 3) Jesus: ✅ Keep the Laws and the commandments if you want eternal life (The Muslim agrees with Jesus) Christians: ❌ NO. Eternal life comes by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus 4) Jesus: ✅ Do NOT neglect even the smallest laws (The Muslim agrees with Jesus) Christians: ❌ NO. Those laws are unimportant 5) Jesus: ✅ I was sent ONLY for the lost sheep of Israel (The Muslim agrees with Jesus) Christians: ❌ NO. Jesus came for us all, Jesus came for all of mankind ************ Your den1al of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is NO different that the Is-rael-ites den1al of Jesus. You're in the exact same boat as the d1sh0nest Ph arisees.

Nonsense. Muhammad is the closest prophet to jesus. Secondly the only Prophet like moses was Muhammad pbuh. Jesus lived in oppression all his life. If you understand who moses was, Muhammad shouldn't be a problem.

@@purdess2.040 Yes these Christians like david Chabi the so-called followers of Jesus of the Bible are basically hy-po-cri-tes going against the very teachings of Jesus of the Bible. Jesus ✅ Don't have double standards The Holy Spirit led Christians ❌ NO. We will have double standards. ********** It's an amazing situation really that the Muslim - Zakir Hussain - invited the Christians to go by the practice and preaching of Jesus of the Bible BUT these so-called followers of Jesus are firm on having double standards.

He just repeated his christian view reagarding some passages, sometimes he used the jewish view( double standards). There's no actual refutation for what brother Zakir did. In contrast, brother Zakir was very prepared and confident. May Allah reawed him.

@@tiisetsothandile8420 Just like a Jew would tell you Jesus isn't in the OT, Christians are saying Muhammad ﷺ isn't in the Bible, so what? as brother Zakir mentioned, the prophecies that he mentioned make a stronger case than whatever Matthew & John were thinking by their vague prophecies and their changing of the biography of Jesus.

@@blueocean5070 I know, like Jews, you Muslims would rather go against your own book than to acknowledge Jesus Christ for who he truly is, but Isn't he the eternal word of God even in the Qur'an? The Qur'an teaches that Jesus Christ is the Messiah meaning you ought to agree that Jews are wrong about Jesus Christ- He is indeed Emmanuel the one talked about in the OT, the long awaited King who is, was, and is👑👏Dr Brown is right by suggesting that Muslims should just carrying on accusing the Bible of being corrupted as an excuse for not finding Muhammad(as a true prophet) in the Holy Bible rather than to struggle with scripture this bad, it's embarrassing.
