1080p is the standard because its what customers find as the ideal resolution and what devs aim for the most. all games this gen and even most for last gen are designed to be 1080P and then during performance testing they decide how much they need to lower the resolution to get the ideal framerate of 30fps or if the resolution is perfect as 1080p they try to increase fps

couple of points: 1. a lot of people seem to be forgetting that the game doesn't have multiplayer period. it has trauma center-esque coop (one player controls the ship, the other one shoots), but in general it's 100% a single player experience. yes, past star fox games had multiplayer, but it's never been a huge focus. it's always been primarily a single player franchise. i could understand complaining about the lack of online if it were a multiplayer-centric game, but they decided to make a single player game and that should be OKAY to do. going by your logic, it would be appropriate to complain if the next single player metroid prime game didn't also have multiplayer like echoes and hunters did. and i think we can all agree that that would be pretty idiotic. 2. there's no way they can make a multiplayer mode for this game and still release it this year. it's been in development for little over a year and multiplayer (especially online) is a lot of work. especially if they want to make it FUN. star fox multiplayer has never been very good, because it's hard to actually hit your opponent in such a huge open space. i'm not saying it's impossible to do, it's just way too much work if they want to release it this year (which they pretty much have to). 3. i get the impression that you're not a very big star fox fan in general lol. at least not in the way most people like star fox. most people play star fox for the single player, they like the on-rails segments and they hate the on-foot shit. just sayin' lol.

Shokio I have a pair of JBL E50BT headphones that set me back $135 but usuallygo for $150 great wired headphones but passable (meaning they still sound OK) on bluetooth and they do come in white like the pair you got on right now and the cool thing about them they can fold up pretty small. So say like for travel they can fold up really compact to make room for other stuff (like say a few magazines or your tablet or laptop and still have room for its charger and other wires like say the headphone cables) and the only other drawback is that they do get uncomfortable after a while but they are worth the $150 you put down on them

Adults are busy people. Most of them have jobs, and maybe even a family along with other obligations. A lot of working people don't have set days off either, and lining up your days off with your gaming buddies can be even more challenging. That's why games like Call of Duty that can put you in a match with other people in under a minute are so popular. I don't see why statistics are needed to prove that online gaming is more convenient than offline gaming. It's just common sense.

@Andrew Chalmers lylat Wars had multiplayer, starfox Assault had multiplayer, starfox command had multiplayer. The only games that didn't have multiplayer was Starwing and Stafox Adventures. Multiplayer on lylatwars was fun and starfox command was fun and it was online.
