That and it's also refreshing to see a beautiful slightly more mature lady who is aware of her skin type and doesn't torture her skin with retinol, scrubs, rotating brushes and any exfoliating acid on this earth. Some skins can tolerate those very active ingredients, but thin hypersensitive and reactive skintype cannot. Soothing is key.

Also, brush your teeth before you do skincare. Why rinse away all those products around your mouth after you brush?
@skinsciencebymira5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the person. Don’t think that is really necessary honestly just depends on preference. I don’t get water around my mouth when I brush just on my lips.

I started using Vit C by The Ordinary and it stings so I immediately apply moisturizer to lessen the stinging sensation. But does it diminished the effect of Vit. C?
@shanzehassan89765 жыл бұрын
John Ayala I don’t think so. On the back of the vitamin C I have by the ordinary it says that you can dilute the product with a serum or a moisturiser if the tingling sensation is too strong for you
@johnayala25405 жыл бұрын
@@shanzehassan8976, thanks for your feedback. I have read that at the back label that it can be diluted but I was just wondering if it diminishes the effect of the Vitamin C. But I realized this is not an issue since I use it along with hyaluronic acid serum, retinol serum, moisturizer and seal it with a facial oil (mixture of shea butter, Vit E, glycerine, avocado oil & jojoba oil) and the result is ultra-hydrated, plumped and immaculately flawless skin, everyday. I really love my skin to be very honest 🙂
@Sebadoh19944 жыл бұрын

Loved that you did someone with mature sensitive skin because that’s what I have. I understand why she doesn’t use retinol products , they’re very very difficult for me to use. They completely disrupt my sensitive skin and cause outbreaks and other patches of dryness and texture. I would love to find a retinol that work for me but I’ve tried many brands and have never found something that doesn’t irritate my skin. Hmmm. Surprised to see fragrance in an esthetician owned brand. I appreciate the simple routine and how gentle she is with her cleansing. I have to say though, I would like to see more proven ingredients. Peptides are great and all but don’t have the research that retinol or retinoic acid have or even glycolic acid. Her Vitamin C serum also has a C derivative which are really lacking in evidence. Simple is completely fine but I would say that that means you really need to pick your products carefully. Her moisturizer has a tiny amount of retinyl palmitate but that form of Vit A isn’t my favorite and I doubt there’s an adequate amount especially when it’s buffered like that. So I definitely agree with Susan about the retinol.

With regards to bringing products down to the neck, doesn't it matter what product it is? Not used here, but for example, things like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide surely wouldn't be applicable? The skin on your chest and neck is different to the skin on your face

I loved how careful she was with her skin and how well she knows that touch triggers it.. it does for me, too, but I'm not quite as patient. Yet! Morning: ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Cleanser ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Toner ▪Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Cream ▪Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence Night: ▪The Face Shop Rice Bright Cleansing Cream ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Cleanser ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Toner ▪Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (M-W-F-SUN) ▪Cosrx AHA Whitehead Power Liquid (T-Th-SAT) ▪Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Cream ▪I'm From Vitamin Tree Water Gel ▪Pyunkang Yul Acne Spot Cream I also use bentonite clay mask every wednesday night and hydrating mask on sundays. Also, I used the I'm From Vitamin Tree Gel first before spot treatment as I have sooo many acne right now (major breakout) and it's really impossible to avoid the spots with spot treatment. What do you guys think? I'm doing this routine for a week now. Pimples have reduced and acne scars lightened.
