I had a Eton Elite field BT radio and my girlfriend and I took it to a camp about 150 miles north of lake Superior. We heard shortwave from all over the world. My girlfriend being a HAM said it was amazing how many stations we were receiving. I don't know were my Eton Elite is . I think my girlfriend permanently borrowed it. I liked this radio so much that, I gave some away as Christmas presents.

We're going back to the camp north of lake Superior next summer and I'll bring my Tecsun H-501x. I hope she doesn't borrow this radio as well. HAHA

I've had an Eton Grundig Edition Field radio since January 2019, and the Elite Field since August 2021. Both identical, with differing colors on the knobs and power button. I use the Field as my go-to FM DX radio with RDS, helping identify various FM stations, especially those that come and go in seconds.

Damn, I am an Amateur Extra with multiple radios including the one you have and I have very little time to play radio. As I type this I am wearing headphones and have to keep the typing slow so I don't wake the grandkids. Maybe when I retire I can actually make do some real DX. Lucky you.

I just Got KSL talk 102.7 Salt Lake City Utah on 1160khz at 8pm Saturday the 26th of October 2024 using the Eton Elite Field Radio.. from my area of the Pacific

I got OBC Osaka Japan on 1315khz at 11pm Saturday night 26st of October 2924 using the Eton Elite Field Radio from my area of the Pacific. .. broadcast in Japanese

Hi, How can I disable RDS so as not to interfere with the time, because whenever I use the radio, the time is incorrect on the radio screen.

I really want a high-quality desktop shortwave receiver with wide coverage. The available choices are just not worth the price. Right now, it’s my RSPdx that’s doing all the work.
