I only know this because my best friend named her cat Cordy after her and then forced me to binge the entire series. The fucked up part is now I'm deep into the lore (it's the closest thing to Vampire: The Masquarade we've ever got out of vampire related media) and like 12 comics in.

@killswitch19824 жыл бұрын
They did a limited run, or at least they tried to, of civilian legal semi-automatic AA-12 shotguns and if I recall correctly, they were going for $3000 or so. I believe they only had about 1000 or so total units available, but they did talk about making more. Personally, I prefer the Fostech Origin 12 shotgun more (which is why I bought one). More magazine options (5, 8, and 10rnd box magazines and 20 and 30rnd drums), based on the Kalashnikov action, and it's got a modular barrel system, so if you register it as a short barreled shotgun (and your state allows civilians to own NFW weapons and devices) you can switch between a 10" or 18" barrel just by taking out one pin. And it has an adjustable gas system, so you can dial in how much gas is going to the pistol for the particular load you're shooting so the felt recoil is much less than other shotguns. It's also the fastest cycling shotgun in the world, even faster than the full-auto AA-12...so long as you can work the trigger that fast. It ain't cheap though at $2500, but it's worth the price IMHO. Best combat shotgun money can buy.

For a group called The Expendables they completely failed to have any of them, well, expended.
@SharkAlien669 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's kinda weird. The only time one of the group actually died was the rookie in part 2 and that starts the whole revenge plot. Then in part 3 when Cheeseburger Eddie almost dies, the exact same damn thing happens. They get oddly attached to their expendable teammates.

Samuel Nice! Plus, it's a tongue in cheek wordplay about the whole thing, kinda just admitting and banking on the fact that every single/last one of 'em is playing their respective version of Chuck Norris at some point, even/ despite being a good, bad or mostly "neutral" badasses of badassitude at one point or 'nother. Like witnessing a dozen +/- dragons, team-storming the one castle vs a few hundreds knights and/or stunt guys, all of whom aren't carrying anything else than some mere nerf gun(s) and wearing NOTHING but red shirt(s) with tacked-on bullseyes instead of metal plates, for some weird reason... Lol!

@judsongaiden98785 жыл бұрын
So when is Michael Biehn going to be in an Expendables movie? His career has gone in sort of an EASTwood direction (ba-dum-tchhh) in the sense that he works on both sides of the camera, writing and directing while also acting. Imagine the irony of him playing a villain in an Expendables movie as Arnie's arch-nemesis. 2:58 Too bad none of the Borderlands games have grenade launcher-type weapons that are actually worth using. I actually like Splatguns in BL2, but they leave something to be desired on UVHM and higher. The Dahl Jackal in BL1 is too weak. Carnage guns are too inaccurate. The Torgue Leviathan is fun, especially if you get an elemental one (most especially acid or fire), and most extra-especially if you're playing Brick with a Bombardier class mod (made by Dahl and Tediore even though neither of them make hand-held launcher, though Tediore does manufacture vehicle-mounted weapons which is why they have infinite ammo). I used a corrosive Leviathan with Brick, combined with a Bombardier class mod, to melt through endless hordes of Crimson Lance in Old Haven and it was just as much fun as doing the same thing as Mordy with a Pestilent Defiler. I hope BL3 has worthwhile indirect-fire weapons as a regular thing. 3:56 Gunnar is the Brick to Barney's Roland. And just like Brick with the Shep Sanders incident, Gunnar is also perfectly justified in what he's trying to do. 4:21 Why does everyone cock their gun like that? It oughtta be cocked already! Sheesh! Are we supposed to believe these guys are professionals or amateurs?! 5:35 Imagine Michael Biehn in place of Bruce Willis. It would be fitting not only because Arnie is there too, but because Mike and Bruce have a similar vibe in the way they're able to capture a mix of brains, brawn, and realistic human vulnerability (case in point: Kyle Reese and Dwayne Hicks cross-referenced with John McClane and James Cole). They're both also able to embody characters that exude upper-echelon military professionalism. Btw, '12 Monkeys' is criminally underrated. 16:27 Too bad Carnage guns aren't as awesome as the AA-12. 22:12 What if they got Bruce fucking Campbell in one of them?
