the reason that Freddy was sitting so much in this movie and the stunts were obviously a double is because Robert Englund broke one of his ankles prior to filming and like Paramount with the Friday the 13th movies New Line Cinema had a strict no changes schedule to filming and that's why Freddy wasn't so physically active like in previous Nightmare movies and he seemed flat in personality because of painkillers for the pain in an interview Robert Englund said : " I was in so much pain in pre-production my Doctor perscribed me heavy painkillers and I was so out of it I only remember filming half the movie `Freddy's Dead: the Final Nightmare´ and only saw it on VHS later "

And it's not mild hearing loss because the dude is completely deaf in both ears. Even cochlear implants which are the strongest known hearing aids can't do as much to that you will have perfect hearing with one. Whoever came up with Carlos' character needs to read a book on deafness, hearing aids aren't magical cures for hearing loss.

Like the very first Freddys Nightmares ‘No more mr nice guy’ but with a budget. That episode used to scare the absolute shit outta me and they could make a killing making THAT movie. Maybe start it at the asylum when Amanda is locked in there. Freddy being born, his childhood, then most of the movie being the murders, ending with him being burned alive. With all the shitty remakes they’re making today I’m really surprised nobody has picked this up yet!

I think Dream Master is a better Final Nightmare than the actual Final Nightmare. You have interesting and likable characters, some of which from previous movies, a more consistent plotline and mythos, better kills, a Freddy that's still trying to be at least a little menacing, his resurrection is amazing, and his death is probably the most satisfying in the series. if things went better with the writer's strike, and some things were refined a little more, then they could have ended the series on a high note with that one.
@GlitchyHalo Жыл бұрын
I think Freddy had the best dialogue in that movie too like Freddy taunting Kristen telling her to call for her friends was cool like Freddy almost never taunts someone without immediately killing or saying a one liner some of my favorite lines were “Elm Street’s last brat, farewell!” “How sweet, fresh meat!” “Alice, come to daddy~” (for…reasons) “Welcome to Wonderland, Alice!” “You think you got what it takes? I’ve been guarding my gate for a long time, bitch!” “I…am…eternal!”

This could have disregarded all of the other sequels and taken place sometime after part one. I always thought when Freddy and Nancy's mom disappeared.that Freddy, knowing he was beaten, used Nancy's sleeping mother to escape back into the dream world. The dream at the end could have been her mother's right before Freddy killed her in the real world. Hence why we see him pull her through the door. Also would have to disregard the last few seconds with Nancy and her posse being driven off in The Freddy Mobile. Clearly some time would pass in which Freddy would gather his strength back, Nancy and her father have long since moved away from Springwood, and Freddy eventually commits mass genocide on the kids and teens right up till John Doe is the last one. At least that is how I would have written it. I think Wes Craven would've liked this idea. Since it involves Nancy never dying. For those of you who have made it this far, thank you and have a good one. And remember; you heard it here first folks. "Freddy Mobile". XD

hell yeah it was in 3D, and seeing it in the theater, local radio station personality throwing out tee-shirts, everyone 14-17 not even legally allowed to be in the theater, it was a fuggin' blast to say the least. Shitty in retrospect regarding what should have been...sure but Alice Cooper, 3D, the anticipation at the time as a 15 year old, the psychadelic scene, Iron Butterfly, the hot chic trying the glove on for size, it had it all in cheezy goodness in spades. Growing up NOT being old enough to see Dream Warriors and Jason Lives; in theaters (the 2 best of each outside of the originals) but rather Dream Child - Final Nightmare and New Blood...we love what we had, and it was good for what it was. Even the fact that we can talk shit about it appropriately as deserved has value. Love you Decker, always.

Freddys Dead: Final Nightmare turns 30 today! Definitely one of the weaker installments Retcons a lot of Freddy Kruger's origins I like Lisa Zane who I found out is actually Billy Zane's sister, recently started a band called Flapunco, which plays hard rock with Latin rhythms They are working on their first album, which might be completed by the end of the year and Yaphette Koto I like too One of the earliest 3D movies but the technology wasn't there yet They got cameos from Roseanne Barr to Tom Arnold and Alice Cooper Even Wes Craven got really ticked off how they made his once-terrifying creation into a laughable comedian instead of being scary, more gimmicky than anything Still the movie brought in fans who even at the time mourned Freddy Kruger knowing it might've been the last time he'd be in another movie Robert Englund's favorite death in the series involved a hearing aid so it makes Freddy an equal opportunity killer The only good part in this movie is entering the inside of freddys mind and him and his daughter fighting each other and the end credits montage highlighting the franchises best moments Thankfully this wasn't the last time Freddy would be on the silver screen

This one was more cartoony then any. And yes, I remember the 3D thing. Fox did a late night showing with a few other 3D shows, I believe Married With Children was one of the 3D shows.. OH! And Revenge of the Nerds in 3D. It was WAY back in the 90s when Fox was trying to do something new for TV.

This is by far the worst Nightmare on Elm Street. I hated this movie. It does a cheap 3D bit at the end.

You know, this is the sixth of your Freddy vs Jason videos I've watched and only just NOW got why you've been alternating between the Elm Street and Friday The 13th movies, while not reviewing the actual movie, Freddy Vs. Jason. Freddy MOVIES vs Jason MOVIES. Damn, I'm slow. You probably explained this in the first review, but my A.D.D. rattled brain never wants to watch reviews in order, so I've been skipping around. I've watched your reviews off and on for several years and just recently saw you in my suggestion box and thought, "Wtf? I thought I was already subscribed to his channel. I haven't seen any of his reviews in well over a year now." At any rate, I'm glad I stumbled across your channel again. I've subscribed and I have a lot of catching up to do.

Alice and Jacob return in Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. Alice dies from the effect of being the dream master and gives her powers to Jacob the new dream master. Also can remember if this was a comic or a trashed screen write but there was also something on them returning to springwood for a funeral and Freddy tries to get to Jacob again but loses again

Another awesome video Decker. I was really gutted when this first movie came out was too much of self parody and a looney tunes on acid movie for me. Will you be doing "New Nightmare" please say yes otherwise it will hurt Rex's feelings!
@keshiaanders64527 жыл бұрын
This confused me for a long time. If Maggie is actually Freddy's daughter, Katherine; then how come the child in the picture the family looks more like a boy than a girl? Unless the picture was drawn to look like Maggie/Katherine was taking a photo; and the boy represents the little brother she never had. Also, Spencer said his dad is a football player, yet in Freddy's video game of death; Spencer ' s dad is a tennis player.
@GlitchyHalo Жыл бұрын
The picture was probably meant to make you think that John Doe was Freddy’s son and made younger Maggie seem like one of the jumprope girls

why does everyone that brings Freddy into the real world always kill him why not do to him what they did to PaVayne on an episode of ANGEL and keep him in a living awake stasis forever
