According to the lore and even the actor who portrayed Jason, the reason Jason doesn't kill any kids throughout the series is because he sympathizes with them, having died as a child and thinking they are innocent victims like himself. Along with this they said that Jason will never harm animals (unless provoked) due to a similar reason, seeing only adults and teenagers as the victimizers. I always thought that was interesting, as it showed that Jason has some form of humanity. Your thoughts Decker?

Hey I had an Idea for a Friday The 13th movie (possibly a reboot) Have a group of theives (say five or six so we can give them some personalities) commit a heist at a bank and as they escape they realize they've gained alot of heat they decide to hide out at Crystal Lake. They dump their vehicle into the lake (maybe have it disturb Jason's body) One of the theives whose face hasn't been publicly made would go into town for some food while the rest hide at an out of season summer camp. Upon arriving in the town she'd bump into a detective or two who are trying to find the theives. She'd play dumb but something about her (maybe a little nervous or too quick with her answers) would go off on his radar. Meanwhile back at the camp Jason would kill one of the thieves who was trying to make a run with the money. The remaining 3 thieves would pursue only to find his body and be attacked by jason. The other thief from the town would come back and find the remaining two confused and scared. They hear a noise in the surrounding woods and run into the cabin . after hiding they peek out a window to see the two detectives arrive (maybe establish this with the one detective saying that if it was him he'd hide in the woods) The thieves plan to steal their vehicle and sneak out the back and get to it but discover that the keys are not in the vehicle. Two go after one while the remaining one persues the other. The solo thief follows the detective into a supply shed and attacks him. The detective knockes the thief to the ground and yells for the other detective who shortly thereafter hears someone push open the door. He looks up expecting to see his partner only to see Jason who after taking a bullet or two makes quick work of him (maybe break his bottom jaw off). the thief on the ground attempts to run only to be grabbed by Jason and killed by something in the shed (maybe a shovel) The other detective is unaware but hears a noise made by one of the thieves. the thieves get the jump and hold him at gunpoint with their last gun from the heist which only has half a clip. However that thief is impaled and pulled out of a window behind him and brutally slaughtered. The detective gets his gun back from the last thief and looks out the window to see Jason standing over the thief's corpse. After a brief chase and the thief and detective working together. while hiding the thief discoveres that the detective she's with has the keys for the car. While moving towards the car the detective finds his partners body and gets a bit upset (not a 13 minute crying seen but more a GOD DAMMIT moment) Now near the car the detective (about to get into the drivers seat) looks back and sees Jason (his machete slick with blood). The detective gives the thief the keys and tells her to run. Fuelled with revenge he grabs the sub machine gun from the dead thief and fires about half the remaining bullets into Jason's chest. Seeing it does no affect except annoy him he instead shoots the entire load at Jason's knee. Blasting most of it off Jason falls to one knee. the detective comes up and whacks Jason in the head with the butt of the gun knocking him onto the ground. He pins Jason's machete arm and bashes his face repeatedly with the but of the gun until the mask breaks off. Shocked by Jason's face he hesitates. Jason lets loose a roar at him and the detective switches to his pistol and fires the whole magazine into Jason's face. Believeing Jason to be dead he stands over the body and turns to see the thief is still there and the detective smiles and gives a thumbs up. the thief returns thumb up. But suddenly Jason grabbs the detectives leg and pulles it forcing him to land on top of Jason. Grabbing the detectives face Jason slams him into the ground next to him and stands. He then grabbs and drags the boddy to the edge of the lake and begins to drown the detective. The detective struggles and Jason raises his machete over his head. The theif seeing Jason can't be killed starts driving away. Out the back window you can see Jason bringing the machete down on the detective. (PS this is the thief whose face wasn't on the news) Okay I just thought this up and uh I hope you'd like it. I'd appreciate feedback on this if you don't mind and thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

Jason Lives is my favorite Friday the 13th movie. The kills are decent, the characters are alright, fairly good considering the rest of the series. This is my favorite Jason look. This movie introduced Jason as most people think of him as: an unstoppable zombie killing machine. The whole movie is fun and the opening shot that copies the James Bond movies is great. Jason Lives is one of my favorite slasher movies. I'd give it a 10/10.

The 44 magnum was never the most powerful handgun caliber, nor is the 500 Magnum. They were the most powerful mass produced production handguns. There were other calibers used in handguns, they just were not used in production guns. For example, the 454 Casull is more powerful than the 44 Magnum, but the first production gun chambered in 454 Casull did not come out till 1983, so technically the 44 was the most powerful commercially available handgun, even though there had been custom 454 Casull handguns made for 25 years before the first production gun was released. It is the same with the 500 Magnum, cause there are more powerful handguns, they just aren't production guns. That is why the tagline has always been 'the most powerful production handgun', and not the most powerful handgun. The BFR is also the most powerful production handgun currently made, not the 500 Magnum. The most powerful handgun in the world though is the revolvers chambered in 600 Nitro Express, but they are not production guns. They have about 4 times the power of a 500 magnum. They cost around 20 thousand dollars each. They are a rich mans gun.

I will give Tommy credit that iron does keep away spirits (at least in Supernatural it does), what they should have also brought with is a big bottle of gasoline, a lighter, holy water, and rock salt. So as to 100% MAKE SURE THAT JASON ISN'T COMING BACK! Plus the rate of decomposition of the body makes it look as though it has only been rotting for at least two to three weeks as maggots are still plenty in number. Though he was buried in a wooden casket. But still, if it's been six years then his remains should be only bone and faint remnants of the clothes he was buried in.

The Raging Reject Obviously Roy acted like Jason if he pretended to be him. But I agree running/walking through a door was bullcrap. It's not like it was soft modern interior door it was solid wooden door. Taking so much damage wasn't bad tho. He showed more signs of pain than Jason and was really fucked up after getting hit my tractor and getting cut by a chainsaw. Imo the ending made him seem exactly less like Jason with him enduring less damage than Jason.

I think this is my favorite Friday the 13th film. Its weird, sure, with a newly introduced Zombie Jason Voorhees, but its fun. Jason goes on a rampage, now being immortal. Alice Cooper is on the soundtrack. There are police that actually try to stop the slasher. The fact that there are actual Campers at Camp Crystal Lake/Forest Green makes things extra scary as you dont know if Jason will kill them or not(on first viewing).

By the way, the Jason in the daytime scenes is not the same Jason in the night scenes. Dan Bradley played Jason during the daylight paintball sequence, and when Paramount head Frank Mancuso Jr. disliked Bradley’s performance, C.J. Graham was brought in, and he played Jason in all of the nighttime scenes. This was the third time in franchise history where Jason was played by two people in the same film.

Wow Dekker I dont know how you got away with showing Jason carrying the decapitated body of the counselor but I am glad you did because I never noticed he pulled her head off before that scene. This was a very brutal film and it surprised me they still kept the no kids killed rule. I could imagine how gory this movie was prior to MPAA interference.
