​@@bryanstrahm9961 Nope, they're correct. A copy of a room PERMANENT comes in with both doors LOCKED. If you copy a room SPELL that is on the stack, it comes in with whichever door is unlocked on the original. Do 5 seconds of googling and you'll find this info.

This commander is so dope! I went the aura route with Bruna, Light of Alabaster as a "Secret Commander." Arna Kennerud Skycaptain also synergizes with The Master of Keys because as long as you put something into X, Arna will double the counters on The Master of Keys and copy any enchantments on him that Bruna can borrow from him for HUGE damage!

Seal of Removal is my go-to in my Master of Keys deck. Having the option to bypass commander tax and to replay him to mill more has been fantastic. Also the protection of bouncing other people's creatures is just a bonus lol

Maybe it's because I'm new-ish but I really dislike the "exile 3 other cards" cost, every time you have to choose 3 cards to give up for the rest of the game & it limits your cards to 1/4th effectively (unless you get to cast the demon soon), it seems frustrating to play It's an interesting commander though, and those with X are rare + the design is beautiful

In testing since you're ideally mass milling turn after turn most of the time you'll be exiling lands that were milled since they are incredibly tedious for this deck to get back. So in most scenarios it's not as bad as you think.

Having an escape outlet in the command zone that fuels itself is extremely broken. You don’t need to cast every spell in your deck just the high impact ones repeatedly, value engines like Rhystic study, necropotence and smothering tithe run away with games on their own.

I used to feel the same way until i finally tried out Underworld Breach (1R Enchantment, all cards in your grave have escape, at the end of the turn sac Underworld Breach). This effect is STRONG.

@@JPNox So there’s ways to circumvent this somewhat through reanimation packages. If you’re escaping the reanimation card you would still pay for that but cards like Starfield of Nyx will get you an enchantment for free each upkeep. Debtor’s Knell gets a creature every upkeep for free. Spirit-Sister’s Call brings back anything with a finality counter on it depending on what you sacrificed for it. When it comes to casting exiled cards unfortunately since you’re not in red there’s no good way to do that. As for when to cast The Master of Keys that’s kinda dependent on a lot of factors. I built this deck around escaping auras so the flow of it usually goes as follows, turn 1 land and potentially a one drop that mills Hedron Crab, Sage of Mysteries, etc. Turn 2 mana rock or any 2 drop mill engine like Chronic Flood and the new Nashi. Turn 3 is where majority of your mill engines are Cemetery Tampering, Ripples of Undeath, The Tale of Tamiyo. Turn 4 can either be more setup for casting on Master of Keys on Turn 5 or casting him on turn 4 for X=1. Usually going the Auras route I can threaten a commander damage kill by turn 5 or 6. Also going Esper Graveyard Auras makes Bruna, Light of Alabaster a scary card. If you’re going more traditional enchantress then turns 4-6 may differ slightly depending on go to enchantments.
