Fantastic on all three challenges!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 My moth invasion was never ending. I would take everything out, throw out the moth infested items, store in another room, clean the area, wait reload the shelves. They would be back?!?!? WHAT? So finally I emptied, decluttered, stored elsewhere. Then I sprayed the cracks between shelves and the wall with a vengeance. Waited a week, reloaded. No more moths!! Whew!!

I have been watching your channel for years now and you seem to have a much easier time letting go of things and you have way less on your cupboards than you used to. It's a great time of year to declutter in the kitchen, rotate the pantry and freezer, and do a bit of cleaning after the holidays. I've been going clock wise to keep track and doing it as can so I'm not overwhelmed or wind up with a mess by doing to much at a time. My next is to take apart the range hood and clean it.

@Saforra992 жыл бұрын
Thanks for a nice video! I was thinking the same thing -- are they helpful or actually annoying? As you were putting some things in it looked like you were used to sliding them in and now with the non-slip liners that doesn't work (e.g. with the stacks of glasses + popcorn tub). Is that turning out to be a good thing or would vinyl(? stick on?) liners be better -- or just leave it as the wood? :) Just a thought. Cheers from Germany!

When your plastic containers are used for foods that "stain", add a few drops of dawn + a dish cloth + about a 1/4 cup of warm water. Apply lid and shake the container. It will get rid of 98% of the stains.
@carolbabb78752 жыл бұрын
A quick spray of non-stick prevents most stains and is much easier to clean. I just learned that tip not to long ago. Works very well for any red sauce if short on a glass container.

Does anyone know why unused glasses go grimy in the cupboard? Happens to mine as well.
@mygreatchallenge2 жыл бұрын
I believe there are particles from cooking in the air most time in the kitchen and when you open the doors it s like a vacuum sucking them in. If they were in a cupboard that does not get open often, they probably would stay cleaner. Also I don't see the cupboards as being air tight. So it might be that too. I sure know they did not go in dirty...but proof we don't drink wine though. Lol
@dorisw55582 жыл бұрын
@@mygreatchallenge It might be air flow. I just noticed that it mostly happens to my wine glasses and they’re stored in a living room cupboard far from the kitchen.
@mygreatchallenge2 жыл бұрын
You know I actually thought about this. I wonder if it s on everything but we only see it on glass because it is clear. Could it be that the soap residue becomes tacky and so dirt sticks to it. My large curio is air tight, I don't have that problem. I though maybe it was oil and bacteria growth from handling them but the dirt is on the inside. Proves to show how we need air purifiers in our home.
