Decluttering may help ease our anxiety but sometimes it helps when we find meaning in the mess. Finding meaning amidst life’s chaos is also crucial as it can help providing a sense of purpose and direction by navigating through the uncertainty and challenges.

To the young lady who was speaking about her experience with mindfulness while jogging, for me, and many others with ADHD, we are constantly having to be mindful and choose which thoughts we will stay with because we have always had difficulty focusing on anything.

Accepting the self-fault, not as a feeling of guilt, rather a sense of accepting it happened, or you did it so far but don't worry about it but change your thought ... recently I went through this... kind of a big relief.

I’m really tired of being focused on myself and doing all the little tips and tricks to improve how I feel about myself. I’m tired of trying to become self-sufficient and to not need anything from anyone.

Yes! There's a podcast that talks about all this self improvement can be a reflection of not accepting ourselves. It's a balance.

The truth is that we are highly social. Cues from the outside world matter, and to pretend they don't is just denial of that. You don't need tips and tricks to improve how you feel about yourself either. I sometimes - when I feel bad - remind myself that I am a human, having human emotions. And, think about it, there are so many folks out there eating up content like this video. So, when you feel bad, realize that all this content exists because so many people feel just the way you do. We're all just trying our best.

Mel, I appreciate your work and helping others. I hope that this doesn't seem negative. Ive been wondering why your videos are always so long. I understand that repetition is important for training ourselves. Is there any way that you could repeat the highlights/important points without making your helpful videos so long?(Its looking like this is more about me than you. 😅 However, could you possibly help me out with the length of your b?videos? I would really appreciate it.) Thank you for everything!

I get it, you're a terrific speaker, but I simply cannot fool myself into this. My brain knows who's in the mirror and acts accordingly. It's a charade I can't believe in, it can't convince me. I just don't feel better about getting the mirror dirty.

I don’t agree with any of what she saying. I have no trouble looking at myself in the mirror. I don’t judge or hate myself. Neither do my parents siblings children or friends feel negatively about themselves. Sounds to me like this lady doing a lot of projecting. I’m not questioning that some people feel this way, but not half of the population. Not by a long shot. And what the heck does this have to do with decluttering? I’m tuning away.
