I personally think whatever in your makeup collection that doesn't wow you, get rid of it! The ones that are really terrible, maybe keep them for a "Disappointing products" sort of video, but anything that's mediocre you don't need to keep, bc having things you don't like lying around is a waste of money & space anyway. P/S: I'm soooo addicted to your decluttering videos :)

I've been thinking the same thing about Covergirl! Not much love for it in the beauty community. But in my experience, for every person who wears makeup but isn't a makeup junkie, Covergirl is the go-to brand. It's affordable and easy to use and great for beginners and junkies alike, IMO. Before I got into makeup, I used the covergirl concealer (in its old blue packaging) for over a decade as both concealer and foundation. Gosh, now you've got me feeling all nostalgic :)

The Covergirl ready set gorgeous used to be my go-to concealer because it's super lightweight & doesn't cake on. It has a natural look to it, and is a bit on the more sheer side of coverage. overall, I think it's really nice for an everyday look.

I really like the cover girl one because it is a really light colour and works really well with the matching foundation. I do always prefer the Maybelline ones though :)

Use the Revlon brightening pen as an eyeshadow primer. Usually I have very oily eyelids and always use it for that and it works super well as an eyeshadow primer!

The Cover girl Ready Set Gorgeous concealer is AMAZING!!! It should definitely be talked about more! I am also MAC NW15 and I use the Cover girl to brighten my under eyes and love love it! Please let me know what you think of it when you try it. I would love to hear if I'm not the only who thinks it's great 💜💛💙💚

Love that someone else doesn't like the Nars concealer! Everyone raves about it and I just can't get it to work for me. I have the same NW15 normal-dry skin so I usually agree with your reviews. My fave is the fit me concealer!

Decluttering is a process. I think to myself...would I buy this again if I lost all my make up? If the answer is no I declutter or project pan it. I only want to have stuff I really love and sometimes I buy stuff thinking I'm going to love it but I don't and that sucks. Right now I'm wondering if I should keep my revlon color stay foundation or not. If I can't pan it I'm going to trash it that way I don't feel guilty.

I originally bought the nars concealer for my undereyes but I actually use it more for spot concealing. I think it's a bit more effective for spots or hyper pigmentation depending on what shade you are using

My favorite way to use my Nars radiant creamy concealer is to cover up large discoloration. If I don't want to wear foundation, I find it perfect to blend all over my cheeks to cover up redness; it has a natural, smooth finish when used like that, at least on my skin!

Hi Emily! The Revlon Photo Ready brightening pen, I use it under my concealer (which is the Maybelline Fit me in 15) I find that the combination of both is amazing. The Revlon one cancels out the vain under my eyes which are obvious, plus, it's kind of a primer for me because my under eye area for me is dry and I find that the concealer sits better and creases less and wears longer when I use the Revlon brightening pen. (Also, I have to add I am living in a 45 degrees celsius weather it's either extreme heat or you are hit with the air conditioner freezing cold! Takes a toll on the skin and you have melting makeup then indoors things may look bad after a while so this trick has worked for me).

I have the covergirl, ready set gorgeous concealer and I love it! I looked on it for the color but I couldn't find it anywhere but it's actually one of my lightest ones from the drugstore. I actually mix it with the rimmel match perfection and I love them together!

Very useful video, Emily! I recently tried out the "Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer" by Sephora, and i'm loving it! It has a bit more coverage than the Fit Me one -which I also love-, plus, the color range is remarkable.

Oh, and I thought the same thing about the NARS concealer but now I kind of like it. I also have the shade Light 02/Vanilla. It was too pink/dark for me in the winter, but I've had good luck with it lately under my eyes and on my red cheeks on the days when I don't want to wear foundation. Then again, I have combo skin and you have dry skin. I do have to set my undereyes when I use it (I use the e.l.f. undereye setting powder)

I have the Nars one in light 3 honey, more like a salmon color and I use it as a corrector.. I use Urban Decay Naked Skin or the LA Girl concealer on top of it! Love the combination! You need to put something on top of it or else it'll melts or cakes up like crazy!!

I'm with you on the Nars concealer! It's one of the only concealers I've tried that has caked up and creased like CRAZY under my eyes. I got a deluxe sample size, and I will definitely not be purchasing the full size.

I love the covergirl ready set gorgeous concealer because it's light weight and doesn't look cakey. Plus they have a really light shade for us pale girls. I think it's a good concealer for those who don't need a lot of coverage under their eyes. :)

Emily--I saw someone put their Mac concealer in an older Fit me tube because they hated the pump too! Thought that was a good idea to keep using the Mac one--if you like it enough :)

i have the mac pro longwear. i use a full pump but put it in a little yar and use it with a brush. so i can use the rest maybe at night to tuch up or next morning!

The Maybelline Better Skin is my favorite drugstore concealer. It's a very natural finish, not too matte, not too dewy and I love how it's very buildable to full coverage. My only con is that I can't use it when I'm more than slightly oily or slightly dry, so it's usually something I use in the winter over breakouts when I'm drier. I wonder what your thoughts are of the Hard Candy Glamouflage concealer. I'm not a big fan of those covergirl concealers though, as I think L'Oreal and Nyx makes better formulas

Great job downsizing! I have the CG Ready Set Gorgeous concealer in the 2nd lightest colour, and it was almost white. It did not blend well for me. It's one of those 'apply and blend out fast' products. It was also very drying and I have combo skin. 👎🏼 One to try is the Rimmel 'wake me up' concealer for under eyes and brightening areas. It's my holy grail product from the drugstore. 😊

I love this series,is so difficult to find the perfect concealer when you have dry skin,so far the only one that seems to work for me are drug store and that includes Maybelline better skin and fit me also the LA girl High end seems not to work out for me,I have tried Nars,UD naked and MUFE and no luck unfortunately

I think you should try the NYX one before giving it away, but if you don't like that Revlon one, don't compare them! You already have an opinion of it, so it must not be as good as the other ones if you're keeping them. Also can't wait to see the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation review! I've been looking into more Rimmel foundations since I hear a majority of them are great. I love the 25 Hour Lasting Finish foundation.

I don't like the Nars concealer either cuz it's so heavy and dry under my eyes! Yet I keep it anyway lol. I love the MUFE Full Cover for blemishes but in the winter sometimes the lightest is too dark so maybe I'll try the Maybelline Master Conceal for my palest moments :) Don't feel bad, I have waaaayyyyyy too many concealers too!
