I'm a teen, but my parents aren't super into organizing and minimalism. I've been inspired by your channel to implement more simplicity and efficiency into our daily routines. My whole family actually loves it! I just did the entire pantry and it took forever, but looks great. Even better, they've helped keep it that way! I can't wait to be a mama like you and have a house of my very own, but until then I'll focus on the change I can do now. Thank you Sarah!

I needed to hear this! Not for cloth nappies, but for potty training. My oldest regressed fully and I already donated his stash since he was in undies for almost 6 months, and it's been 5 consistent months of regression. My extra grace is just buying pull ups instead of buying him new cloth nappies. He's large for his age and such a heavy wetter, I'd need to completely overhaul my stash for a hopefully short lived regression. Love that mentality!!

I do have a question: how do you store/add to your “memories”, such as scrapbooks, albums, kids’ special drawings, etc. I would love to see a video about that. But if it’s too personal, 😎totally 🆒
@Smakedance3 жыл бұрын
She mentioned before she just takes pictures of them for a memory. Not sure if she does it but I know other minimalists would take a picture and put it into a small album.

I know that a lot of minimalists have a bin/storage tub for each child, so maybe special baby clothes / very sentimental items etc. But it's contained to 1 bin so doesn't get in the way of everyday life. This is what I plan to do with my children as I had a mother who was very minimalistic and didn't keep anything from my childhood and I'm super sad about it as an adult even though I probably would declutter it anyway. It would be on my terms as an adult.

Hi! I've been a consultant for quite a long time re: use of space and organization and your house is one of the best I've seen ! While not being "overly perfect". You know. It's obvious you let the kids play with and enjoy things. I did see one thing that I though worth mentioning-your small weights in that built-in, where the yoga mat is- looked like they were at a height that could easily be pulled down by a little one and possibly injurious. Teeth-bonking height. I also share your distaste for glitter and banal kid's books!
