Tbh before breath of the wild, the only other Zelda game I had ever played was Windwaker in fact I bought botw because the open air concept reminded me of how windwaker felt (even though it wasn't actually open world). Fast foward 3 years later now the only Zelda games I HAVEN'T played are Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword because I never owned a Wii or WiiU lol. Botw sucked me in to the franchise!

Fun Fact, the Twilight Princess and Smash Bros Links are functionally identical, but they are still considered separate amiibos for the game. Also, as you play through Twilight Princess HD, Wolf Link gets stronger in this game. There's actually a specific area you have to play through to make wolf Link stronger in Breath of the Wild.

So the thing with the amiibos is, it's more expected that you'll use them repeatedly over days of playtime and thus stock up on regular items and have the special items as an occasional cool thing. It's a much bigger pain when you try to get the special drops in one day. especially since most of them have more than one.

Break the metal boxes from the guardian amibo and you can get ancient parts for the Acala tech lab. Also, save the Twilight bow for hunting dragon parts. It has unlimited range, so you can hit the dragon easily. You can also get more Twilight bows if you scan that amino every day.

That Twilight bow makes the One Hit Obliterator portion of the Champion's Ballad SO MUCH EASIER, too. Just pick a good sniper location and pick off most all of the monsters from a safe distance. That's what I save mine for!

I was born in '84 and got my first NES for Christmas in 1991 when I was 7. I'd had to stay in the hospital for a couple weeks after Thanksgiving because of getting pneumonia, and the pediatric wing had an NES on a rolling cart at the nurse's station that you could call down and ask for. They'd wheel it in and let you play with it for an hour at a time, and I was hooked. And bless my mom, she searched high and low and managed to find one at a drug store just a couple weeks before Christmas! I still have it now at 37, hooked up to a switch box with all the other consoles I've ever owned in my studio/office/lady lair.😊 I want to get a Hylian crest above my ankle for my first tattoo. Ideally I'd love to have a champion blue color splash behind it, morphing from pixels to polygons to realistic watercolor to represent the advancements in graphics the series has seen over the last 35 years. I'm an illustrator for a living and I LOVE making Zelda fanart in my free time (I have a speed paint of one of my BotW pieces on my channel, actually). I have the concept drawn out; I just need to find a good watercolor tattoo artist to get it done. Zelda is my heart and soul so I definitely want it inked on me permanently. 💜

If you think the Champion's set is expensive now, I bought it immediately when it first came out and when the cashier rang it up the cash register said "€9999,99" I spent like an hour talking to the manager, him calling HQ, etc. Before getting it at normal price. You can actually use the TP bow of light to defeat ganon.

I'm pretty sure that you can use any bow so long as you use arrows that can hurt Ganon, that being both the light and ancient arrows. The tricky part is having the bow shoot far enough to hit its target since not all bows shoot the same distance.

One Game that I would looooove to see you react to is Zelda Windwaker HD. It is a really fun game, and I enjoyed playing it so much. It has references to Ocarina of Time (same world of Ocarina, but flooded, and the hero of Time influences alot in that game.) And I think you would enjoy it. I took a look at the timeline of Zelda, and it looks like your next game is going to be Majora's Mask, then Twighlight Princess, and then by then it should be time for Skyward Sword (which I am very excited to play for the first time). Wolf-link has the ability for more hearts. If you scan it in Twilight Princess HD and do the special dungeon, wolf-link will have that amount of hearts also in Breath of the wild. Nice addition i would say. I have almost full hearts on my wolf-link amiibo, could not finish the dungeon in Twilight HD because its hard to do hahaha.

1 more thing about wolf link is that if you play TWILIGHT PRINCESS and if you play a special dungeon included in the amiibo, during that dungeon you can be saving or collecting hearts and, the more hearts you have saved in wolf link amiibo, the more hearts wolf link has when you use it in BREATH OF THE WILD, you increase the life of the wolf link and if you let him hunt animals on its own, he eats them and replenishes health. Link is his own best friend.

Getting a wii u would be worth it cause it ports skyward sowed and you can only play skyward sword on the Wii it also lets you play twilight princess and majoras mask it ports almost every 3D Zelda game ( maybe all of them idk )

Skyward sword is getting that switch port but for wind waker and twilight princess it's the best option. Wii u should be pretty cheap these days too so hopefully it's not too big a task to obtain.

@@opfryingpan9770 I don't think so, it looks like they're plastic containers glued onto paperboard backing, so you're going to rip the paperboard no matter what you do

You can cut the sides all the way up and the back side of the base so it's like a little chest that opens upwards, there are lots of tutorials online

@@pats3212 Well that's cool, but it still doesn't allow you to restore the packaging to exactly the way it was, even with glue. So you might not call it damage, but a collector maybe would.

Here's a fun fact which is actually not so fun: The armor inventory is limited. It's a pretty big limit, big enough that most people will never hit it. But if you get all the armor from the base game, all the DLC armor, and then try to get every single piece of amiibo drop armor, you will run out of room for the last few pieces. It's a completionist's nightmare and I can't believe they overlooked it.
