11:25 and I am literally screaming at my computer... just make two portals! lol. Actually it's part of the genius of introducing new things like this throughout the game, they distract you from the powers you already know and make you forget them. Portal 1 was amazing. Portal 2 was life altering. They managed to keep the DNA of the first game, everything that made it awesome, and enhance it, build on it, deepen it without ruining anything. That is so incredibly rare. Portal 2 is a diamond of a game.

We're nearing the end of the second game and I think dee has finally gotten a hold of portals basic mechanics. Some of these chambers actually weren't painful to watch. Especially that last one. I remember that one truly stumped me back in my first playthrough. So it's kind of weird seeing him just solve it with no real issue.

Just FYI, you can actually destroy the screens where Wheatley is watching and it makes him really mad, lol. You can fling the blocks using momentum or use the lasers. But you'd have to redo those last group of levels to do it, since you're past that point now.

That out of the way, “Are there enemies there?”, well red laser sights have historically indicated turrets so far, so yes! Everytime I see a turret eye beam, or a laser beam, I always immediately wonder “Boy, I wonder how long it’ll take for him to blunder right into it and/or aim it right at himself.” Haven’t been disappointed yet!

I got stuck on the last puzzle because I had everything figured out, but I just didn't understand how to somehow funnel myself to the other side to press the button. My dumbass didn't even think to use the portal surface that was right there. This game has so many complex mechanics in it's puzzles that literally the simplest concept in the game can evade you.

Funny little tidbit about that: As you can see in the video, the hallway leading up to the puzzle is destroyed in a scripted event and you have to get through using the portal gel. This was added because playtesters were having the same trouble as you and so the devs added that scripted event to remind players that you can just use the portal surfaces

When you finish this you might want to play "Portal Reloaded" and "Portal Stories: Mel", both free community created mods for portal 2. Reloaded: You're a different test subject, number 4509, and you're given the Triple Portal Device, it has the original two portals, that allow you to move through space, and a third portal, so you can move through time. The tests get even better. Stories: Mel: You play as Mel, another test subject, you start in the past, during the time Aperture was at its peak, but an experiment goes wrong and you wake up after the place was closed.

I'm annoyed with the lack of Zelda and Xenoblade too, but seriously, don't tell him what to do. That's just rude. He has every right to play whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and he doesn't need to cater to you. I had zero interest in Portal before he played it; I only watched his playthrough out of boredom from waiting for Skyward Sword, and it actually turned out to be really entertaining. Now I'm tempted to get the Companion Collection for Switch when it's released and play these games myself, which I never would have even considered otherwise.
