Yeah. People often get that mixed up and think that the secret endings are trailers for the next games when in reality it's just Nomura saying "Wouldn't it be cool if this happened?" and then eventually coming back to it. @jamrah8713 Жыл бұрын
Honestly? It ended up being the correct choice KH2 went full batshit insane in regards to story and it ended up being beloved by all and some herald it to be the best action rpg ever created. Some people say kh would be better if it stuck to the “simplicity” of kh1 but I think it’s convolutedness and insane stuff is really what truly separates kingdom hearts from everything else Like only Nomura could direct a scene where goofy is assumed dead (even though to the audience it’s obvious he isn’t) and Mickey throws off his jacket and summons his keyblade in rage to avenge his fallen comrade..and it somehow goes hard??? Only KH can deliver moments like that BECAUSE of how insane and just nonsensical it is. It ends up creating some raw moments

Sora was revealed to not even be the chosen one, Riku can wield one, Riku-Ansem/Ansem created one, and King Mickey had one in just KH1 alone. "I thought there was only one keyblade holder" But... in the first game alone we see 3 different wielders with 3 different Keyblades, not to mention characters like Leon who already know about the weapon and even King Triton talking about previous Keybladers. I will never understand where this "One Keyblade wielder" thing comes from when they very clearly established the existence of multiple from the very first entry.
@EskChan193 жыл бұрын
Probably because everyone always said THE keyblade, and always said THE keyblade chose Sora. So most people assume that it's one keyblade that choses a new wielder from time to time, not several different keyblades with different wielders. It's like the Avatar, they already know about the Avatar and talk about the prior avatars, but there's still always only one at a time. Also we have NOT seen 3 different keyblades in KH1, we have seen 2. The Kingdom Key that Sora has all throughout the story and loses to Riku for a bit, and Mickeys Keyblade which he calls THE keyblade of the dark, making it seem like it's more of a legendary second key more than just yet another keyblade. I assume you mean the blade that Ansem had that Sora used to free his heart but that was a fake, Ansem even says that himself. It's not a real keyblade. So KH1 showed us two keyblades, always refered to the first one as THE keyblade and the second one was treated as a huge reveal. So it was natural to assume that there was only the kingdom key and Mickeys other keyblade was completely unknown at the time. So everyone who plays KH for the first time would get this idea.
@Supersheep643 жыл бұрын
It mostly just because they keep using the phrase 'The Keyblade Master' all the time. If it had been 'A Keyblade Master', then nobody would have been led to that conclusion. And then after KH1 they switch it out for 'Keyblade wielder' which removes the implication entirely.

That dual keyblade wielder is the best character in the franchise, not the blue haired girl, not namine, that dude

It's a very intricately crafted spider web, but being able to trace all the threads and pull back to eventually see the grand scale of it is going to be a very enjoyable game journey. It's a great game series and I think you're going to have a blast playing through and discovering things as you go along.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best gaming series ever created. It shaped who I am to this day. Beating the first game at the age of 9 and hearing the ending with all the replay of the story I had gone through made me cry and got me emotional. One of the hardest things I had accomplished at that age and been hooked since then and a mega fan. Dearly beloved was my wedding song that's how impactful this game was and makes me cry everytime I hear it. And to watch you go through this journey is the best. Enjoy it.

Just when you think you understand the story, they introduce you to the mobile game, which don’t get me wrong, I actually really like... the plot gets very complicated from there and it’s really cool what they did with it

Idk, I never found the story complicated. I have no issue with that being the common take, but one thing I don't like is the lie that the story is random, or that they just made it up as they went. It's obvious they foreshadowed nearly every avenue they take in the story.
@BobbyTheGamerOfJUSTICE3 жыл бұрын
I agree. I seriously doubt EVERYTHING was planned though. I mean, the series is almost 20 years old at this point. I doubt even the most talented writer can plan ahead that far in advance. Nomura has definitely planned out the majority of things tho, absolutely. The way he foreshadows things is really fun to piece together. And he’s clearly always had some kind of plan
@rainofkhandaq66783 жыл бұрын
@@BobbyTheGamerOfJUSTICE Ofc, I don't mean how everything has been fleshed out, but just the routes he took to get there. CoM, KH2, and 358/2. Maybe BBS as well.

Trust me, this is just the beginning. You will be met with one cryptic piece of information after another. Every time pieces line up and we get answers, we are given a dozen new cryptic info to decipher. Even now, one spin-off after Kingdom Hearts 3 (and on the closing chapter of the mobile game), we are left with a new series of cryptic information. All I can do is wish you luck as this Pandora's box of mysteries unravel before you. Also, I hope you're good at card games.

You should check your status and abilities when you next stream KH2, mainly due to that new Valor form you gained. The Drive forms in this can level up, but not through conventional means. Each has its own requirements. For Valor, it levels up by number of hints inflicted, so it's the easiest to level up. The others aren't as simple though.

YOU NEED TO LEVEL UP YOUR DRIVE FORM. That will help with hard to reach locations. Each Drive grants something if you level it enough.
