I remember being in Rome last March and seeing multiple excavation sites, especially near the train stations. Amazing how they are still finding artifacts from the time of the Romans.

That's a pagan basilica, it has no relation to Christianity. The basilica was simply a type of building in ancient Rome that was later borrowed by Christians for churches

only rome has this special curiosities of the past.but there are also other more ancient cities older than rome but no interest at all..maybe rome will someday be rebuilt in the future od europe again..since its the only ancient world power thats never been conquered by another power..
