For a good overall cleaner and degreaser, I use purple power. Ive started using this on interiors and I honestly think it is the best cleaner I have ever used. Works for wheels, door jambs, interior surfaces, and it works wonders when shampooing carpets. Best thing is a gallon is like 20 bucks so its definitely worth trying!

James, Thank you SO much for cleaning my car!!! I am so appreciative and impressed with the work you did on my nasty car! I'll try to keep you updated on it! For context: I've wanted to have my car detailed since the second I got it from my mom, about 2 years ago. I never had the time or found someone I trusted! I particularly trusted James because he showed the whole process and what he did to my car. My mom never really cared to get stains out of the car and I dont even know what she spilled in the center console. Also the mats are probably so dirty from my work boots, I work at a dog kennel so its probably dog shit and mud haha

@thomassahadi4954

If you're going back and forth with a rotating brush....then the fibers ARE getting "hit from both ways". Don't see how reversing the drill would make any difference at all to the fibers that you are trying to clean. Grand04gt's reasoning is the only reason you would want to do it. And remember, with all cleaning products........REPLACE IT EVENTUALLY. Eventually the brush will get crap in it.

I always thought of cars, like a second home: they are an extension of you. You take care of yourself, you end up taking care of your home, your car, and everything around you. To think someone would use a car like this, it's something serious. Depression, lack of care, stress, and the list goes on. If you know someone that has a car like this, talk to them, find out what's wrong, that's not natural. I hope the owner of this car had just bought this from an auction or junkyard.

@@iheartsleepyd I understand that. I have all of these commitments and I plan my time accordingly so that I can take care of personal things like exercising, house keeping and so on. Family is teamwork. You can't do it all alone, that's unfair and wrong. Planning begins way back when choosing your partner: if that person is not helping, then say goodbye and start over. I didn't mean to insult anyone, I just wanted to point out that the importance of planning and caring. Imagine someone not brushing their teeth for "lack of time". That's what I meant.

Oddly enough i love to detail cars. I dont do it for a business, just my own cars and friends/family. I make my own carpet shampoo with La's awesome degreaser, a bit of laundry detergent, vinegar and distilled water. Ive tried a LOT of carpet cleaners for greasy carpet and honestly the mixture i came up with (though someone has probably done something similar) works amazing.
