steve bennett it looks more presentable to the buyer. I once bought an older model pickup truck and the interior was fairly clean but the door jams had black mold growing so remember to keep your door jams clean otherwise mold will grow in them

But we have one request that would make your videos 100x more satisfying: When you dump the extracted water, could you use a clear tote to hold the dirty water? When I use to do carpet cleaning.. Our favorite part of the job was opening the black water tank to show the people just how NASTY their carpets were and how much we sucked out of them. Well it was both hilarious and disgusting at the same time for us and for the owner, because sometimes that stuff wasn't just nasty looking but HOOOO.. That smell too, specially if they had animals.

Price is all over the place for everybody, but $225-$275 is what we've been charging for a full interor with extraction, wash and spray wax. Polishing is priced separately as that is usually a totally different customer for us than a "full detail" customer.

I used to own my own detailing service and it used to be a passion of mine. I like seeing someone else who is as passionate as I used to be about cleaning cars. One of the methods that I used to use when doing the interior (small crevices etc...) that I would swear by, was using compressed air with a microfiber cloth to wipe away the suds and dirt after scrubbing. It worked amazingly well and would reach where my hands and other tools couldn't. Keep up the great work!

The magic eraser isn't supposed to be used on that type of material.

@@HauTuGi yes, it can. And it will leave major discoloration. There's nothing magic about the magic eraser. It's a soft, absorbent block of essentially ultra fine sand paper. That's why it cleans some things and ruins others.

I feel like that i would honestly love car detailing as a job. Love cleaning and love the satisfaction of the aftermath of cleaning. I used to help my dad detail cars when i was a teenager and always liked doing it, but never stuck with it and honestly don't know why? I messed up my stereo! I sprayed armor all as I always have n from a distance n was wiping everything down n now my stereo buttons for stations or to change songs etc don't work only volume, and the one to switch from cd, radio, & aux! If you use 30% hydrogen peroxide and uv light on the “permanently stained” plastic you’ll get it back to brand new

I think this works only when the plastic is yellowed by the UV exposure, I don't think it will work on plastic that was so dirty so the dirt literally melted with it.
