When that Lexus was finished being detailed it said “ I’ve never had it so good “. Another amazing detail. The powerful moment for me was the bug guts not moving when you power washed the front. Then sprayed with DG bug remover and BOOM! Bug proteins gone ! Great work. Love the movement on the new DG business. Can’t wait for you to film your first vehicle in the DG man cave with Eagles music playing in your earplugs! Awaiting my next wash meditation session.

Its moreso the drainage areas from the rear window around the weather stripping in the trunk that collects a ton of dirt. I usually get mine separately being that I've got an outback and can't really get in there well with a pressure washer. This car seems to let a lot of water in through where you lift the trunk from though, it usually doesn't work out that way.

I would be "itching" to do a headlight restauration on this one, mostly because one headlight is so much more damaged by sunlight than the other. I'm guessing the customer didn't want that done, for being the perfectionist that you are, I think you'd also like to to them?

Lexus headlights quite often do go yellow on one side more than the other My IS220D is exactly the same, right side worse than left (UK)

I’ve heard that some LED bulbs with certain plastics of headlight assembly lenses can yellow the lens. I too was itching for him to restore the right headlight especially. I’m past it now, but being a Type A personality, “phew” it was tough! 😂🤯⭐️😊👍

There was a time that condoms in the back seat had meaning, but, the sheer physics, and age itself put an end to that (They are a LOT more handy in the bedroom). I spent 8 bloody hours trying to clean the inside of my car last weekend, and I didn't even get to the carpets. These videos are so satisfying because it looks so lovely and I wasn't kneeling in a freezing garage for hours to get to look at it. Whoever decided beige was a good interior colour for a family vehicle deserves a smack upside the head.

It's not a matter of should have. It's what the customer is paying for and that's it. If they want it restored then pay for it. If he starts handing out freebies that now becomes an expectation by all customers and he will lose money like that.

I used to own one of these cars and I freaking loved it. I wish they were just a touch bigger inside. I’m a tall guy and I just didn’t fit in the car - was giving me back problems after 6 months of ownership. Sadly sold it, but I’ve always loved the way this generation of IS looked.

I've been detailing my own car for years now and you've had a big influence on the way I do things ... I have always wondered why do you need to wipe off APC residue on the interior, even with a very weak dilution like 100:1?

Depends on how dirty it is and whether I have good access underneath the seats or not. In this one, I could move the seats up quite a bit so I could get at everything underneath 👍🏻

I love how he has different chemicals around each video and alternates between what one to talk about so it isn’t the same thing every time. Love that attention to “detail”

The mud pouring out of the trunk drain holes actually had me exclaiming “…what the hell?” That was SATISFYING! Also, I’m still astounded that a Bissell works well as an extractor. Like, $170 Bissell, or $1,500 Mytee?!

Question for you, Mitch... why don't you do the iron decon prior to the wash, so you have one fewer rinses?

Slow-mo side to side wash mit crew here to enjoy this Lexus! I always wondered how a person could let a luxury car get away from them, but I understand since they commute a lot. Came out amazing! The dirt pouring out from the trunk area was simply 👌 perfecto! That 🌧 during the reveal tho😑

This might be a dumb question but is there a reason for applying the bug remover AFTER the pressure wash? When applying before foaming wouldn’t you be rubbing the bug guts all over the paint? Or is Bug Remover only necessary when the pressure wash can’t remove them?

The best after shots I've seen was the 2012 Ford f150 harley davidson edition truck. The black after the paint sealant was incredible😍
