If you get something dirty, clean it. For the interior it's that easy. Exterior is a whole other thing. Clay bar, polishing, cleaning, treating paint, retouching...
@_beautybysamara

If you have leather seats make sure you put leather conditioner weekly. Not putting it makes the leather crack & rip making it not last as long. & make sure you use protectant on the interior (door panels,dash,etc). Chemical guys is what my husband & I use.

Designate one day out of the week to tackle the interior. What I like to do is every Thursday after work, I take out all the trash from my interior and hit the seats with my small vac. When I wash my car, I'll vac the carpets. Once in a while I'll get my drill brush but living in NYC doesn't make that easy.

Something that may be kinda cool to do would to add an “elapsed time” thing in one of the corners every now and then. Maybe after each step of cleaning (vacuuming, wiping down all the door panels, extracting, etc.) I just think it would be interesting to see how long it takes to do different portions of the detail.

@@phenomfacemob1011 I don't honestly think that it's people being lazy, I just think that most people don't care about how their cars look. My wife always cleans up her car, but some people just really don't give it much thought when they're on the move and are carting their kids around to basketball, baseball, football, and so on. Their cars are just a way of getting around and eventually it gets hard to keep up with. I don't personally understand how people can sit in a vehicle with trash and food laying around inside, but it is what it is. Most people with younger kids and a full time job just don't have the time to go out and clean out their cars. I personally pick up and throw out my trash at the end of the day, but most people don't have that mentality unfortunately.

I think it makes sense in the small areas... like between the plastic bits and the side wall area in the back there was like a half inch strip which would have been harder to get to with the brush head. It also would be good to heat up an area overall then go in with the cleaner while it is still hot so the cleaner can work its magic. That's in my opinion anyway. I also don't do this for a living so idk about time constraints. I started watching these because I accidentally spilled a blizzard in my car.. 😭😬

In the middle of this video, I went to Amazon and bought a steam cleaner, ha! My car and home is not very filthy (I think many who watch these videos are into cleaning, like myself), but I loved the effect on stains in this video and realized having a decent enough steam cleaner could be helpful around the house for cleaning and disinfecting. This vehicle was pretty bad!! It’s inspired me to go wash and spot clean my car today. 👍🏼👍🏼

Most of your video titles are “Nastiest Car Ever...”. I think it would be helpful if you included the type of vehicle in the description for those of us who may want to go back and watch a gain. In this case, Suburban... Thanks!

FoxyGrandpa_ 1224 I think his vanilla response is a polite/professional way of saying that the price is a private negotiation between the two parties. Putting his exact costs up for all to analyze can sometimes cause a distraction as folks will inevitably start second-guessing it and in the end just negatively effect his ability to justify the skilled labor & materials involved.
