So I followed this routine with different products and oils but the same process, just rinsed out my deep conditioner which I left in for about 24 hours and omg my hair grew about an inch over night. THANK YOU SO MUCH ! Just sealed my ends with oil as well. You guys' hair growing tips are wonderful.

It's called co-washing :) . It is amazing for growth. It cleans your hair without stripping its natural oils and w/o tangling and breaking off your hair like shampoo does. Find a good conditioning cleanser (like (Carol's Daughter Hair Milk for example). Thoroughly wet the sections of your hair, then massage the conditioner in and wash it out minutes later. Then deep condition and moisturize. Your hair will be super soft. Hope that helps :) It's good to wash your hair like that weekly

Try butter and sealing. Use shea butter on your hair and go over it with an all natural oil like extra virgin coconut or olive. The weather's getting cooler, so it's sure to dry out your hair.

U should always moisturise before sealing with an oil, if u oil first u stop the moisture from penetrating the hair follicle, except for coconut oil, so try putting in your triple moisture then olive oil and your hair will stay moisturised for longer.love the vid.

I've never tried the EVOO with the deep conditioner before, but...can I just say "WOOOOW"?!?!? So much more moisture and shine after rinsing. I deep condition for 2-3 hours (never able to do overnight) but I got a really great effect with this on my transitioning hair. Thanks so much for sharing!

some ppl are asking about heat damage. I do notice that maybe her curl pattern looks looser but they do protect their hair when applying heat so I'd say since they do flat iron their hair often w/ also a heat protectant that her curl pattern on some areas has just gotten looser that's all. I'm sure if she wasn't using a heat protectant & doing what she do before the straightening process then she'd have heat damage. if they stopped using heat her curls will become tighter, beautiful outcome btw!

@Naomie Litanda Nope it doesn't have to be a deep conditioner, it can totally be just a regular condish. What makes it a "deep conditioner" is the amount of time you leave it on your hair so that can really penetrate it, typically 30-45 minutes. Some people like myself like to sleep w/a deep conditioner overnight. =)

Love it and I bought that triple moisture after seeing it as one of your faves! I just have one tip...try not using oil first because olive oil seals and it may be blocking the deep treatment from penetrating but coconut oil before is awesome because its a protein and its the only oil that actually penetrates the hair shaft.. but the olive oil seal after I think is perfect :-)

I love all of your videos and watch them all the time! I completely understand what works for one persons hair doesn't work for others but I tried the agadir moisture mask and my hair felt stripped and dry? I also got the same result with the palmers coconut protein pack? Is there certain ingredients that I should stay away from? I have 3A hair type

I know you were asking Kendra, but I run my fingers through my hair like she does, and as long as I don't have a lot of knots, my hair is fine. If you do have knots, I recommend starting from the bottom and working your way up. Also, long nails will probably increase your chances of ripping your hair. Hope that helps :)

Yeah I was informed by the comment police a few weeks ago that coconut&olive oils moisturize hair lol. I've been on my hair journey for almost 3 years (relaxed starting out, natural now-10 mos post relaxer)&got into a routine where I moisturize w/a water based moisturizer&then seal w/an oil. That's just what works for me. Although I may have to try the coconut oil first then a moisturizer at some point in time lol. =)

olive oil is one of the oils that do not seal it absorbs in your hair shaft and strengthen your hair follicles.. coconut oil is another oil that should not be used to seal because it absorbs into your hair shaft in strengthen from the inside jojoba oil and castor oil are great sealers

Deep conditioning helps with frizz. And make sure to finish rinsing with cold water to close your hair cuticles. And sleeping with a satin or silk bonnet or pillow case helps with frizz reducing. Hope a 12 year old like me helped xx

LOVE THE HAIR!! side note: idk why everytime i watch one of kelsey/kendra's vids there is always someone with something negative to say. in my opinion i don't think they have heat damage. i've watched all of their OLD and NEW hair vids and their curl pattern still looks the same. their left side has always seemed looser than the right. we all know they wear their hair curly 6 months and straight 6 months

Girl I said that on their updated curly hair routine vid&got comments galore from the doggone comment police about how some oils can actually penetrate the hair&moisturize it. Apaarently both olive&coconut oil can moisturize the hair BUT I TOTALLY get where you're coming from. Different strokes for different folks, BUT I will ALWAYS moisturize w/a water based moisturizer first, then seal w/an oil, be it either coconut, olive, or whatever lol. =)

It's good for a drugstore hair mask. My mom loves it but I found it to be so-so. It's creamy, not too thick but not liquidy. I think I liked the smell, for some odd reason. It left my hair soft, but it was nothing to rave about imo.

That's not entirely true. Essential oils do not "seal" any type of moisture because they are able penetrate the hair shaft. Oils/serums with silicones seal moisture because they create a semi-permeable barrier on the hair shaft which helps prevent moisture form escaping.

It might not be heat damage , I'm Japanese - Hawaiian ( my hair is so curly and grows so fast) and many girls with super curly hair tend to get looser curls when their hair is at a loner length because of the weight and Gravity pulling on it :) I've never used heat tools in my life and this is true for me ! or she might have just have been born with different curl types I know women with big natural spirals and little ringlets mixed together
