Seen Deep Purple three times, and "Hush" was played at all the shows. The crowd loved it, and the band looked like they were having fun playing it, especially Jon Lord, RIP.

Hush is still part of the Purple set list today (56 years later), it’s one of their encore songs, I’ve seen them play it over many decades every time they tour here in Australia, anyone who hasn’t heard Hush is living under a rock. Anyway..... Deep Purple has a new album being released in a few days, it’s called ‘= 1’ (equals one). Three new tracks have been released so far, ‘Portable Door’, ‘Pictures of You’ and ‘Lazy Sod’. Go look at the official Deep Purple KZbin page and you can listen/watch. Purple is still on the road and currently touring Europe (the only time they stopped touring in recent years was when everyone was forced to stop during Covid). The new album, ‘= 1’, will be their 23rd studio album too. *Ian Paice, drums - age 76, since 1968 *Ian Gillan, vocals - age 78, since 1969 *Roger Glover, bass - age 78, since 1969 *Don Airey, Hammond organ - age 76, since 2002 - (Don replaced the late Jon Lord when he retired in 2002) *Simon McBride, guitar - age 45, since 2022 - (Simon replaced Steve Morse when Steve left the band to look after his wife who had terminal cancer, she recently passed away. Morse was in the band for 28 years, from 1994-2022, much longer than Blackmore who quit mid tour in 1993) Still making and playing good solid rock n roll. Cheers,

I’m sorry, if I’m stepping on somebody’s toes, I think it was, Sam. But this is the only deep, purple song I’ll suggest if he wanted to suggest more. I had this in my suggestions already and sent it in. Man, I knew you would love that one. Always get a kick out of trying to hear the wolf howls and how many times before the band hits. As far as the na-na-na part of the song, there is another song that uses the same phrases but it’s completely different title. Na-na-na-nahh, hey hey, goodbye by Steam. It was used in a commercial advertising new types of tailgates for a pick up truck😅
