And this concert was about a month before there machine Head album was released where this song is from.. that’s what purple and other bands did back then play the songs from the album before it’s released..the made in Japan version is mind boggling. Also the studio is excellent as well.

Hi Elok, well I've just finished watching Deep Purple's 1984 reunion show in Australia, it was a fantastic show. This was on live terrestrial TV England and then you pop up with some more. Love Deep Purple, such fun Band. All the best from England 🤘❤✌🇬🇧

Made in Japan live version is the best, unfortunately there is no live video footage of it, this one needed a better director as the cameras are on the wrong person a lot of the time.
@ponytrekker89963 жыл бұрын
Yes agreed this is from their live in Copenhagen Denmark concert 1972 About a month before machine head was released there is actually a colored version floating around the Internet of the entire show it was an official release adds much more life to it.
@kasperkjrsgaard14473 жыл бұрын
Ahh, the old “K.B Hall” concert from Copenhagen. Been to a lot of concerts there. Watching Deep Purple there of course a couple of times but also Alice Cooper, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Motörhead and, uhmmmm KISS i think. The place unfortunately burned down about 10-11 years ago. A lot of history in that place.

Hi Elok! Great reaction to my 2nd favorite DP song (after Highway Star). I would have written earlier, but I was feeling, um, I don't know, a little, oh, what's that word? For having low energy and tired? I just can't seem to remember it. But I'm glad that you experienced more Deep Purple. If only more modern teenagers like you would do the same! But I guess they are just too......🤔

Some years back in my youth, somebody asked me if I were a lonely astronaut with a 10 year mission onto outer space, which three records I would take with me. At that time my answer was: 1.- AC/DC's Back in Black. 2.- Rush's Moving Pictures (or 2112). 3.- Deep Purple's Machine Head. At this time I don't know if same selection would be, but could be. Great song, great reaction. Greetings Elok. 🍀👍

New album coming out of cover songs by Deep Purple. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but the first two songs from the album have already dropped and they are great!! The songs are _7 and 7 Is,_ originally by the band Love, and _Oh Well,_ a Fleetwood Mac cover.

Lazy Is the perfect example of how a basic blues song got turned into a classic Hard Rock song by the simple presence of Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore. Organ and guitar and booom, you have an explosion, magnitude nine on the Richter scale. A movement of the Earth never seen this side of the Atlantic. This is also why Jon Lord was called the best keyboard player in his days. Hammond B3 with rotating Lesley speakers, fed through a Marshall guitar amp. Do better if you dare go there.
