When I checked out the olaplex products, it is recommended to use olaplex #3 along with olaplex #0. Have you tried the # 0? If so or if not, do you think it is necessary or better to use them together? Or do you feel you get enough benefit from just #3 alone?

Great tips! Thanks! I bleached the bottom half of my hair about a year ago to get a caramel like color. I have similar hair type as yours, but mine seem to have to life lol. I’m debating whether or not to color it back to my natural hair color (dark brown similar to yours) in the hopes that it’ll help to get my hair back on track. Do you have any recommendations for healthy hair dies for natural hair?

The instructions say to use on wet, unwashed hair. I rinsed my hair thoroughly to reduce the amount of product I had in there from the last wash day.

Some people say the Olaplex on Amazon is not always legit. IDK. I got mine at Sephora so I think you can get it from their website.

Olaplex is not a protein treatment. It rebuilds disulfide bonds in the hair. I used it recently and was very happy with the results. I plan to use it quarterly.

Anita Wallace you basically just described a protein treatment. Disulfide bonds are part of protein structures so rebuilding them means strengthening the proteins which in turns means strengthening hair. 😊
