Deep Dives Discussions - The Callisto Protocol, I'm going to talk about my thoughts and feelings surrounding The Callisto Protocol which is due to be released on 2nd Dec 2022.

I honestly don't care if it's a near carbon copy of Dead Space, I just want more of that type of game. The main character could have been called "Caissic Lark" and I would have still been on board.

I’m quite excited for Callisto Protocol. It hits a lot of different bases that Dead Space doesn’t. Being up close and personal with the creatures in melee combat is different enough that this isn’t going to feel at all like Dead Space. I love the first Dead Space, but it really doesn’t need a remake. I may purchase it, because if it does well, I can assume it’ll signal to EA that people want more Dead Space, and as a fan of the series, I do want more. I’ve enjoyed the games (except 3), books and movies. I’d love to see a reboot of the series or something to show us more of the universe.

Yeah, I mean there’s some positivity in the fact that their could be more remakes after, but yeah, I’ll reserve judgement till I see more.

Bought the game just because it was on sale and I hadn't played it. The only complaint I had was the lack of enemy diversity. But the story, progression, QTE, atmosphere, levels and settings... much better than dead space 1. I really need more of this game.

Given the fact that I'm planning a dead space campaign using the Alien Rpg system I'd love to hear how this game turns out and I personally would like to buy the game. If the game, and it's respective sequels do really well then I may run a dnd game based on the lore of the callisto Protocol. I loved the setting and the horror of dead space 1 and 2. If this game delivers and is a good spiritual successor then I'm definitely gonna buy the game.

idc about crazy graphics, i care more about gameplay and if its actually a good game. I dont mind if its very similar to dead space. But from what I've seen I'm not crazy impressed by callisto protocol. Tbh I just dont see myself ever getting hype for games pre release after the way certain games are complete shit after finally coming out. I like your channel tho and I hope u upload more game analysis more often

I completely agree with the dead space remake point you made, the new change in the art style of the remake and the excessive graphical effects kinda "ruin" the game as it looks less dirty/dingy compared to the original. Things are just too clean.
