wow wow wow! What an introduction to a video Tony! So exciting, insane but exciting What a stunning cave its huge! Just getting to the dive area is awesome to watch. Omg these lads have no fear what it must be like to be 40 years younger Tony! It made me feel giddy Tony just looking at that ladder never mind climbing down it. This is the most exciting cave video ive ever seen i really hope it gets the views it deserves Tony. Loved the king kong shadow that was cool, crikey he even managed a back flip! everyone looks so tiny! Some serious big splashes going on there. There bodies must get some huge bruises afterwards, looks very painful. 😮 well ❤much love stay safe Tony😊👍👍👍👍

I just found your YT chanel. nice work...A small correction...the 12B rail bogger (8:02) works on a pneumatic system, not a hydraulic system as mentioned. It has two pneumatic motors with one driving the wheels (back and forth) and the other that winds up a chain that pulls up the bucket. Turn the handle the other way and it unwinds the chain, which drops the bucket. The operator stands on the side with the bucket being pulled up in front of his face to deposit it behind in the truck. In airleg mine I worked in there was only about 200mm between the operators back and the wall (so not much room for mistakes!!). It also has a centre pivot that allows the operator to clean up the edges out to about 600mm each side of the tracks. I used to operate one of these in a small underground mine in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia about 35 years ago. They are extremely dangerous and I was almost killed by one once. I took over a lunch break on the 600 level and the first sweep saw the bucket stuck under a toe I couldn't see, which rather than lift the buck, lifted up the back of the bogger and slammed me into the wall. I was stuck between the machine and the wall, with the air slowly pumping into the bucket winder. The only thing in the way was my arm jammed between the wall of the machine (my fist) and the rock wall at my back (my elbow). I yelled out and was watching my arm bend, waiting for it to snap. If my offsider wasn't as quick as he was, and grabbed the air hose and crimped it, my arm would have snapped and the bogger would have smeared my head up the wall. Those were the days.

Thanks for the correction much appreciated ! Your story shows the dangers of the mining industry ! You were lucky to keep your arm !😅🙋🏻♂️🙏⚒️

@neroxman2819Ай бұрын
Hello. I have a question. Do you think the levels of radon inside abandoned mines are safe for relatively short term periods of time, such as explorations? Or do you measure radon or even worry about it? Thanks, you have great videos!
@UndergroundExplorerUKАй бұрын
We feel Radon will not affect if you are only an explorer , but no doubt our levels or exposure could cause cancer , has been noted an increased incidence of it in Cavers in the Uk , but is a risk I’m ready to take ⚒️❤️

For reference point on saying the water since bringing in an air compressor and air tank to make bubbles maybe small pieces of white foam floating on it something that won't hurt if you land on it likes white styrofoam just a few 1-in cubes all floating and pick them up at the end no trash left behind great video loved it
