Zach, thank you for posting these episodes. I remember watching your dad as a little kid in the mid-90s, waiting for the day I could go to deer camp with my dad. Brought back a lot of memories.

Zach, I watched your Dad for years after Mort Neff on Michigan Outdoors and then on The Practical Sportsman. I had the pleasure to meet him and your Grandfather at a wild game dinner. Thank you for bringing back the videos and now I have another channel to binge watch. Thanks again and keep Michigan Outdoors and the Practical Sportsman alive!

As a kid, The Practical Sportsman was my favorite outdoor show. I love how Fred never took himself too seriously. I'm glad to see these old shows again.

I was 14 my 1 year I was old enough to hunt. Back in the good old days. Before all the youth hunts, and all the other bs from the wonderful dnr we have in Michigan . Good show.

Was this before or after the “good 8”? Haha I’m just wondering if Fred was invited back after that one!

Ha these goofs, traipsing all over that rub line the day before and then wondering why they didn't see the buck. Cool to see the sport many years before I ever entered the woods.
