Aw, sorry to hear that. Get well soon. Only feedback: yes the coach wants to relay information whilst it's still fresh but if they both wait a while to get their breath back it works as a more effective video. Thanks for the content

Cool video! Nice that you incorporate several different levels of playing. I am curious why you didn't correct the small recovery step after the lunch towards the dropshot in the elite player's footwork. Is it because you think it's correct? Did you notice it? In my opinion it mess up the flow and the rithm of the footwork. That's why it looks sometimes a bit panicky and fast.

even in professional match I see that they often lunge with their dominant foot, especially for fast shuttles. why do you say to lunge with left when it goes to backhand? Even the advanced player lunges with right 7:05
@xiangchengzheng57625 жыл бұрын
if the shuttle is close enough you can lunge with your non dominant leg, but once it starts getting far from your body you have to use your dominant leg to cover the distance
@chazstahs5 жыл бұрын
He was too tall for his position, so if he did lunge across with his dominant leg then he wouldn’t have enough space for his racquet. With the elite player the difference was his footwork was way more efficient and he was much lower.

The intermediate player has incorrect racket movement. Too much racket flipping on forehand side. Incorrect grip on backhand side (hes just flailing his wrist for his "backhand" grip). He's also standing way too high and legs are way too close together before the shot. Great insight on advanced and elite and amazing quality content.
