Very effective. I do enjoy a good ole U shaped duck and counter more though.

So many "options" makes it confusing

This was an older video. I have tried to stick to a few techniques or focus on an overall concept and demonstrate it with a few options. I made a more recent Haymaker video, but again each attack or violent situation has soooo much information that you can cover. Some I will cover here and the rest I will save for my online curriculum

@@staysafemartialarts Thanks for your reply. I try to follow Bruce Lee's adage, "I fear not the man who has practised 1,000 techniques, but the man who has practised ONE technique 1,000 times." I have practised probably 100s of times ONE technique if ever threatened with a baseball bat. And I know with 100% certainty that it would work. But if I offered 2 or 3 or more other options, that's saying [to me] that you're not all that certain that option No.1 is going to work. The counter against a baseball bat wielder I've practised is almost exactly like what you showed at the beginning of this video, of getting inside/up close to the opponent. So yeah, I really like that first one you showed at beginning.
