Defining... you`re definitely the girl that you think you are, okay! Love this. My first date experience. So ke my boyfriend is a taxi driver right and obviously I travel by taxi everyday to and sometimes from work. So every morning I took his taxi because I was never late at work, I enjoyed his company and the music he would play. So I developed a crush on him but I kept it moving because 1- bendingafuni uphoxeka and mistake his kindness for love, 2- I didn`t know whether he had a gf or not. Long story short, 3 months into the crush he asked for my numbers. We talked via w/app and calls. Two weeks after talking we asked on a date. Guess where our first date was? Lol in the taxi 🤣. So the Saturday he came and picked me up (taxi was reserved for just us 2) l was looking cute and smelling nice and naye shame he tried, I saw the effort that he put in, as we all know how taxi drivers dress..njeee. I sat on the passengers seat, and I think the nervous got the better of me, I asked to sit behind him (behind the drivers seat). There wasn`t a specific date location so he just drove sana on the N2 and conversation was flowing. I asked him questions and he also asked me questions. With the help of rear view mirror, we kept ieye contact...that was our source of eye contact 😅. He bought food through a drive through and found a nice spot where we sat and enjoy the food. I absolutely enjoyed it...he made me laugh and we were comfortable with each other. A year and a half later, we`re still together 🥰.

He took me to lunch at Mugg & Bean and we spoke for hours getting to know each other. We spoke so much, so much so that we ordered round 2 of food 😂😂😂 man, I felt soo free around him and so did he around me. The date ended late, we took a walk through town and at the very end of the date we found ourselves singing the song “A Thousand Miles” and performing to it while walking in the streets 🤣. I was in my peak gone girl era. I still think of that day whenever I hear that song and remember how happy I actually was 🥹🤍.

Best first date experience: Has to be the most recent one, guy asked me to pick a restaurant for dinner, I picked one that I hadn't been to, he made reservations and asked to pick me up at 6.30pm. So he showed up we drove to the place ordered our drinks and starters, followed by mains. We were locked in conversation the whole time till the restaurant closed, we bonded over God, our tattoos, the work we do, working out and so much more. We literally started planning other things we'll do together. After dinner one of my friends was playing at one of the local chill spots we have and he was so keen to go so I said sure why not. We got there ordered some drinks and had such a blast, we still talk about that day till today😂 that has to be my best first date experience. So yes if you're wondering we're still "dating" as in getting to know each other and spending time together. We decided to take it slow cause we both just came out of long term relationships.
