Hey Jubilee fam - thanks for watching! We love the amazing people in this episode and are so grateful for their involvement. It really is special to see human beings who don't know each other connect in such a beautiful way. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up 👍and subscribe if you haven't already! To those of you who share our videos with the world, you are AWESOME! 🙏

We have a society that really suffers from social isolation. I think that videos like this, whether it's a conscious effort or not, can help people ease their minds about opening up to strangers on multiple levels. The fact of the matter is you need to talk to strangers and get comfortable with embracing communication as partially adventurous. What if you need to find work? What if you need to find love? What if you need to find friends? You have to speak and you have to learn to define yourself. Keep up the good content yall.

Every one of them are so such beautiful people. I loved the light in Kevin's eyes, and his genuine smile, and how he allowed himself to be so vulnerable. I loved how strong and open at the same time Shannon was. Such a rare combination in a person! And I loved Pierre's individuality, and openness to get close to people without being uncomfortable with that. Just wonderful souls. :)

So back to the friends thing; search him on instagram and just DM him! He answers everyone and i myself didnt even know him for a month yet but we are sorta friends i guess.. he also has a wonderful Community on amino where its just an accumulation of good energy and beautiful people!^^ (his IG name is @antidagger and hes even doing a IG live today (9th of march) so feel free to join us! ♡

Yeah! I totally felt the same when I saw first videos with Jubilee and started to follow him on Instagram just to keep to know him, at least from a distance, you know. And it appeared that he actually is so geniuine with everyone and really takes time to answer us all. And yep! You can always come and join the community that is Amino. We are some people in there who are sharing some time together through virtuality, reaching people from all around the world actually haha. And Pierre is there acting crazy and stuff. Wish you join us and get to know him. ^^

Actually, to talk to him personally, I would say that it's easier with Instagram at first, yeah, even though he may take some days to answer cause he receives a lot of requests. But the Amino is an app (I think you could maybe access it by a website too? Not sure though.) in which there's like forums and blogs about different topics. One is called Pierre XO and, even if it asks to give a password code or something, you just have to send a request. And then join the chatroom. ^^ Like tonight, there was a "meeting". Pierre talks and most of us use the chat to communicate to eachother. He also can ask to ear us. I actually talked to him today. It was nice. ^^ I hope to see you there soon! ♥ Oh yeah, btw, if you do come, don't mind it, but he really acts silly and loud sometimes. xD

The way Pierre speaks about his parents who lived through the Vietnam war is so similar to how Thi Bui wrote about hers in her novel, "The Best We Could Do". It's extremely interesting. I wonder if this is how all parents who lived through the Vietnam war behaves. Are they all still in flight mode? Do they all have their barriers up due to their experiences? Do they all have distant relationships with their children? I'm genuinely curious.

I live with a mother and brother who have Aspergers. The lady really touched me when she said what she went through as my brother has gone through the same. I guess the difference is that I’ve never been able to speak to or hear from another who is the child of a person with this learning disability. It’s been extremely painful and difficult and enlightening and unique. I would love for someone to make a video on this and to represent what a child of an Aspergers parent experiences. If you do I’d be happy to share my life’s experiences and the affect that has had positively and not. Thank you 🙏

The Asian dude reminds me a bit of my brother. He's a nice guy but growing up in some Asian household is a bit restrictive. I observe that most (not all) Asian parents expect their children to be family-oriented and pragmatic, to the point that dreaming and being creative are seen as unnecessary. It's never about what do you want to be when you grow up to be happy. It's always what career to pursue to be financially stable. You have to realize that no matter the ethnicity, every child has different strengths and weaknesses and at times parents need to remove their expectations of what they want their child to be and just let him be himself. As a child of the stereotyped strict Asian household, I understood early on that my parents' motives come from genuine love and concern. They grew up struggling so they are programmed in survival mode. They dont have the luxury of dreaming since they need to work hard to provide a good life for their children so we can have better opportunities. It's not that they dont care about our creative aspirations, it's just that they are worried that they have failed to prepare us for the world. Then again not all kids react that way. Once supressed, it is normal for some kids to feel unloved and misunderstood.

Here are the questions for anyone who is interested: 1. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest? 2. Would you like to be famous? In what way? 3. Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why? 4. What would constitute a “perfect” day for you? 5. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else? 6. If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want? 7. Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die? 8. Name three things you and your partner appear to have in common. 9. For what in your life do you feel most grateful? 10. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be? 11. Take four minutes and tell your partner your life story in as much detail as possible. 12. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be? 13. If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? 14. Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it? 15. What is the greatest accomplishment of your life? 16. What do you value most in a friendship? 17. What is your most treasured memory? 18. What is your most terrible memory? 19. If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why? 20. What does friendship mean to you? 21. What roles do love and affection play in your life? 22. Alternate sharing something you consider a positive characteristic of your partner. Share a total of five items. 23. How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people’s? 24. How do you feel about your relationship with your mother? 25. Make three true “we” statements each. For instance, “We are both in this room feeling ... “ 26. Complete this sentence: “I wish I had someone with whom I could share ... “ 27. If you were going to become a close friend with your partner, please share what would be important for him or her to know. 28. Tell your partner what you like about them; be very honest this time, saying things that you might not say to someone you’ve just met. 29. Share with your partner an embarrassing moment in your life. 30. When did you last cry in front of another person? By yourself? 31. Tell your partner something that you like about them already. 32. What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about? 33. If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven’t you told them yet? 34. Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why? 35. Of all the people in your family, whose death would you find most disturbing? Why? 36. Share a personal problem and ask your partner’s advice on how he or she might handle it. Also, ask your partner to reflect back to you how you seem to be feeling about the problem you have chosen.

The *more* i know the better i feel the same way. Sometimes i feel like i can be myself and everything and sometimes i feel like i have to limit myself so much. I don’t think i have social anxiety. I have mild anxiety and i can be nervous and really shy in social settings.. but yeah it depends. it annoys me when people tell me to just talk more or just ‘do it, don’t think about it so much’ but i can’t help it. I definitely relate haha, i’d love to do this though

When Shannon was talking about her dad being more into death, I can understand her. My mom is the same way and I don't feel I'm 100% ready either.

Wow that's weird Pierre's childhood sounds like mine, my parents always working on their business leaving me alone by myself and not expressing enthusiasm for my interests or achievements... This was awesome 😊
