I don’t understand why some other creators have beef with you but I can honestly say it’s you I go to whenever I’m looking for a new build to try out. This game is dog eat dog but you are still out there trying to help people out with content and carries so you can’t be all that bad. Did you just get lucky with the RNG on the chest piece having obliterate with crit chance and damage so you could recalibrate the core attribute to armor? Or did you craft the chest piece until you got the one you needed, I’m askin cause I ran countdown for two hours and went through like 50 of the chest pieces got one with obliterate but it had handling and skill haste attributes

question: so then would that mean that your total bonus damage from both the chestpiece and the 4-piece+backpack is equal to 2% overall considering they are separate damage groups? cause you get the 1% from the backpack+4-piece, then you're getting 1% from the Obliterate talent? EDIT: Nvm....i see that obliterate is 1% per stack and there is 25 total stacks for it, so that would make it 25% bonus damage at max stacks.

I have a DPS build that has helped complete the Incursion in the past, thing just never dropped, difference now is old team doesn't play anymore. Now I've got a new set of friends that started playing, but they aren't ready.

I definitely want this weapon. I started playing the Division 2 a week ago or so but alr SHD lvl 26 on PS5. My build is just the best loot i can have to raise Armor+Health w/ 2 Skill Tiers & 3 Exotics down thus far. Iron Lung. Doctor Home & A Holster Piece. Didnt use too much KZbin To piece together end game stuff. Although i see theres levels to this and im glad despite starting late The Division 2 Community not only is still close knit and active but also internationally played. God knows i wish i understood the mechanics of the gear items of this game. It seems like i just play for hours and get nowhere. Im so lame. I'm tired of the constant grind and pain, and everyone acts like we all have hours each day to sit in front of a screen. Sorry for my life, livin' the hell out of me. Please, someone help me before i throw my xbox out the window. Either way, great job as usual.

There are 6 pieces of gear that you can equip: mask, backpack, chest, gloves, holster and knee pads. With the mask, backpack and chest pieces, you're also able to equip a mod if you hover over the piece and press "X" on the controller. It is possible to also equip mods on gloves, holster and knee pads but only on improved gear that's crafted at the crafting bench but it's not something typical that you should worry about. One detail that is important is that the backpack and chest piece have the additional perk of having talents. Brand sets (gold) have 3 attributes that are activated for each piece you put on from that exact brand set. Each brand set is typically focused towards the use of a specific weapon or playstyle. If you want all 3 of the attributes, you need 3 pieces from that brand set. For example: if you want to play with an assault rifle, you should likely incorporate the Fenris brandset into your build. Another detail for brandsets is that the backpack and the chest piece each have a unique pool of talents on them. To clarify, the backpack has a list of talents that can only appear on backpacks and the chest has a unique set of talents that can only appear on chest pieces. You don't really ever want to have more than 3 pieces on from one single brand set, you'd be missing out on an attribute that you can gain from putting on one piece from a different brand set. There are also gear sets (teal) they are slightly different from brand sets and you really want to have 4 gear set pieces to take full advantage of the gear set bonus that you can read about on the piece of gear. Much like brand sets, the gear piece backpack and chest also have talents but, they are specific to the gear set you're wearing. If there is a gear set that suits a playstyle or weapon choice you want, you could wear a mask, gloves, holster and knee pads from a gear set (4 pieces which would activate the full bonus of a gear set) and then wear 2 brand set pieces for the backpack and chest and be able to have the pool of talents on each piece. There are also exotic pieces which are orange. Each piece has a fixed set of attributes and a unique talent. When making a build you can only equip a maximum of one exotic weapon and one exotic armour piece. Here's an example of a decent build that will allow you to tackle most activities: Specialization: Gunner Main weapon: Exotic St. Elmo's assault rifle Secondary weapon: The Mop shotgun Sidearm/pistol: anything... Mask: exotic Catharsis Backpack: Strikers gear piece Chest: Fenris with the obliterate talent Gloves: Strikers gear piece Holster: Strikers gear piece Knee pads: Strikers gear piece With the exception of the mask you want to have critical chance and critical damage on all your pieces. You can check your stats for your build to verify your critical chance stats, you want it to be over 50% but not more than 60% because that is the cap and that would be a waste. If you achieve over 50% crit chance then for the mods you can put on your mask, backpack and chest, use critical damage. For your skills you want to use a crusader shield and a reviver hive. The St. Elmo's shoots like a laser and helps with crowd control when you obtain shock rounds The catharsis mask helps keep you alive and do more damage when you or your shield are getting shot/hurt The Strikers gear set builds damage stacks as you continuously shoot anything that moves The fenis chest piece gives assault rifle damage boost and the obliterate talent also stacks damage boost when shooting enemies. The shield helps you approach enemies or move around without straight eating bullets. The reviver hive will revive you when you got too excited and didn't play smart... Hopefully all this didn't overwhelm anyone or confuse further... There are exceptions to much of what I just said but in general you should design a build around a weapon or playstyle and then read each piece to see if it works with what you're trying to do. The easiest way to farm all these pieces is to play Countdown on Challenging difficulty. Set the targeted loot to Strikers and keep playing until you find a backpack, gloves, holster and knee pads with max (15%) weapon damage and then recalibrate the attribute to either crit chance or damage at the tinkering station or from your inventory menu. Then set targeted loot to Fenris and get a chest that has crit chance and crit damage and then re roll the talent to obliterate or if it has obliterate and one of the crit attributes, recalibrate the random attribute. The catharsis mask can be tedious but if you continue to run Countdown, you'll accumulate currency to buy exotic chests from the Countdown vendor and keep trying your luck... Hope this helps
