Max0r's narration is really fun to listen to and hes explained how he reads lines in an interview before. If i remember correctly, he'll read the end of a line first and then go back to the start to avoid running out of breath by the end. It also helps him maintain his cadence.

Fun fact, Jetstream Sam is the only enemy in the game with a no-notice attack. Everyone else triggers a response from Raiden's electronics, but Sam has an attack that has absolutely no notification and is subsequently the hardest attack in the game to block, and he primarily uses it when he's lost his sword. Basically, if Sam went all out, nobody can stop him, but he's just in it for the entertainment of fighting strong foes. If Sam had ambitions like Armstrong, the game would have ended with Sam's RGB stabbed through Raiden's chest.

He's infamous for being comically pretentious and egotistical in the fighting game community to the point where people meme him to death when he told someone to 3nd their life - the one you saw in the beginning in the video If you want to know a bit more background about him you should watch "The Brilliant Fighting Game Community" and "The Brilliant Fighting Game Community 2" by Crowbcat. For me, the crazy part about this video is that this is a fairly accurate summary of the game's narrative. You guys should definitely check out a channel called "Heroes of the Storm Highlights". It's hilarious fun from a VERY social game that's slowly dying because nobody talks about it anymore. Also, you guys are caught up on all the Blizzard lore so, you should at least know who all the characters are. :)

I love it that you're getting into Metal Gear. Rising technically isn't part of the canon main timeline, but ehh... I'll take what I can get. :) Main canon timeline is technically the 2 original Metal Gear games, 5 MG Solid games, and 2 Portable Ops games (PO and Peace Walker). The Rising, Survive as well as the Ac!d series are not canon.

But there is also an Extended Kojima Universe that would on top of Policenauts also include Snatcher and potentially even Zone of the Enders. I put these 2 under EKU as it's not really entirely clear if they're meant to be in the same timeline together or not. Official timeline would be roughly Metal Gear series Snatcher Policenauts And ends with Zone of the Enders.
