@@djsnoopmike Namekians do exist but they don't make wishes often. In GT it's stated that dragon balls need 100 years for a cool down to avoid the shadow dragons. Seeing how peaceful Namekians are they most likely save wishes only for emergencies which were the only times in the shows we seen the Namekian dragon balls used. On earth Bulma made overusing dragon balls easy.

To clarify: Goku was accidentally wished to be a child, but he retained most of his powers. Baby is a villain whose power is infecting others. The strongest character he was able to leech into was Vegeta, which is why he's designed as "Baby Vegeta". Everyone still does exist, though older, and less plot relevant. Pan and Uub are aged up enough to join the cast of fighters. Dragon Ball GT was a spinoff taking place after Buu was defeated, the series was made in the 90s/2000s

There is no canon in Dragon Ball, there are continuities. Manga Continuity: Dragon Ball - DBS Anime continuity: DBC-DBZ-DBGT Everything is part of the Dragon Ball universe. If it were canon it would mean that DBGT is not official.

Dragon Ball GT is strange but the designs were fucking epic. GT, at the time took place 10 years after the Majin Buu. Thanks to Super that's been retconned. To explain a bit, Baby Vegeta is basically Goku Black, a Tuffle named Baby takes control of Vegeta. GT Goku was wished back as a kid hence why he can go Super Saiyan and SS3. Syn Shenron is one of 7 Shadow Dragons born from the negative energy of the Dragon Balls. Syn is the negative energy from wishing back everyone on Namek. Syn swallows and absorbs the other 6 Dragon Balls to become Omega Shenron, he can utilize the other 6 dragons' powers. There are a few unconfirmed characters from GT that didn't make it to the trailer, like Nuova Shenron and Super 17. You'll see once you get to GT in 2025. The Abba like song is the main theme for GT, so out of place but that's the song they chose.

Remember Mai and her friends? How they are kids because of a wish? in GT, they were caught by Goku before they could make a wish to become young again, and they accidently wished for Goku to be a kid again instead. Dragon Ball Super messes with the timeline laid out by GT. Even though TECHNICALLY everything that happens in GT is after super ends... it's still hard to imagine it making any sense for events like this.

Syn Shenron is one of the Shadow Dragons that came out of the Dragonballs which were cracked from being filled with negative energy from mostly past villains. Syn has the 1st star Dragon Ball and is the strongest out of the 6 Shadown Dragons. He later swallows the other 6 Dragonballs to become more powerful where he's renamed into Omega Shenron. He's known as the FINAL villain of the DragonBall series.

So GT's an interesting case, it started in 1996 and was made to serve as an anime-only sequel to the Dragon Ball Z anime, set 10 years after the end of Z. The creator, Akira Toriyama, was involved in some capacity near the beginning of the show's development, designing the characters (including Vegeta's infamous mustache) and approving storylines, but got less involved at it went along, he considered it a grand side story to enjoy. Goku is a child again due to being wished into that body by a new set of Dragon Balls, called Black Star Dragon Balls, and the initial story is a space-faring adventure to collect them from different planets throughout the universe before the Earth is destroyed in 1 year. Baby is a parasitic lifeform created as part of a race of aliens called Tsufruians, or Tuffles in the English dub, who have a grudge against the Saiyans, which motivates him to target Goku and the other Saiyans. Baby takes control of Vegeta, hence why he's called Baby Vegeta and why he can turn into a Great Ape. That is a Shenron, just not the Shenron you know. The Shadow Dragons were born from the overuse and negative energies of the Dragon Balls that built up over the years. There is a Shadow Dragon for each Dragon Ball, with Syn Shenron being the 1-Star Ball, and when he's absorbed all other Dragon Balls, he becomes Omega Shenron. All in all, GT is pretty divisive in the Dragon Ball series, considered a black sheep of the franchise by some, while being seen as underrated by others.

Before Super, GT was supposed to be the end of Dragon Ball, the show gets constantly criticized but it has some of the greatest characters designs and concepts in the franchise and SSJ4 is one of the most loved transformations even if its not considered canon. Before Super, SSJ4 Gogeta stood as the epitome of strongest and most powerful character to ever exist in dragon ball, thats why if you play any dragon ball game even recent ones, SSJ4 Gogeta is most of the time the most broken character or at least one of the best, for 16 YEARS Gogeta stood as the strongest character in all of dragon ball until Super got introduced

So the thing is - DBGT is EXTREMELY controversial and divisive in the fan base. Dragonball Super is a recent series with the direct input of Toriyama. It has its own controversies, but they put GT to shame. DBGT is supposed to take place 5-10 years after the end of Z (while Super takes place between defeating Buu and the end off Z). There were no plans for Super, Beerus, God transformations, etc. in the mid-90s when Dragonball Z ended and GT began. So, the cool new transformation was SS4 (which comes after 3). None of the plot beats or transformations in Super exist in GT.

To clarify a few things. All of GT takes places in a different continuity, where Beerus and other concepts introduced in Super never existed. GT Goku was originally an adult but he got turned into a child because of a wish made by the pilaf gang. Although small, he still retains most of his power. Baby Vegeta IS Vegeta but his body is being possessed by a parasite called Baby, who belongs to the Tuffle race, one that was killed by the saiyans many years ago and now he wants revenge. Since Vegeta was the strongest host available, he took his body, hence why is called "Baby Vegeta" (In his path he also infected Gohan, Goten, Trunks and all of humanity) Syn Shenron is one of the shadow dragons, created by the negative energy of the dragon balls being overused. He specifically is the one star dragon and the final boss of GT.

While Goku was training Uub an old enemy of Goku’s accidentally used a set of black star dragon balls to wish Goku to have the body of a child. Skipping ahead a bit, Baby is an android like being with the genetics from a race whose planet was destroyed by the saiyans. After arriving on Earth he eventually posseses Vegeta’s body and mind controls the rest of the planet.

GT has very divisive opinions about its quality as a series. Lanipator (voice of Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, etc in abridged) and Kaiserneko (voice of Trunks, Korrin, etc. and the editor of the abridged series) recently did a watch through and mostly trashed it. GT is divided into 3 (or 4- depending on how you count it) major arcs: -The Grand Tour/Baby Saga -The Super 17 Saga (he's only shown up in your view of the DBZ BT3 finishers video and used the Shocking Revenge Death Ball, and he doesn't appear to be in this upcoming game). -The Shadow Dragons saga

Baby is a pretty fun Villain. he is a strange gelatinous parasite that infects and possesses Vegeta, slowly transforms him to resemble babies true form. He was designed by a race of aliens that were wiped out by the Saiyan's long ago, so he kind of represents "the sins of the father" catching up to Vegeta. He is not Vegeta as a baby... Goku's situation is different.

(Spoiler free) Really, what you need to know about GT is this: It was a sequel series to DBZ that the animation studio Toei made by themselves after DBZ ended. Toriyama only provided a few designs for it but wasn't involved otherwise- (spoilers below if you consider *when* GT takes place a spoiler) Timeline-wise it technically takes place a couple years after DBS, buuuuut DBS and DBGT are considered seperate continuties

I'm a huge "Xenoverse 2 fan. I think it's absolutely the best "DragonBall game ever. It has so many different storylines and campaigns and fun exhibition modes with the greatest gameplay feel. So this is most hype I've been about there nxt game. The visuals are completely insane. The environment and powers are phenomenal. I grew up with "DragonBall Z as a kid way back in the day. There is a GT Trunks as well as a GT Pan, he's ljust likely to be an alternate skin for the other Trunks as he didn't do much in GT to make him unique enough to be a seperate character.

I definitely recommend Dragon Ball GT because some of the arcs there were really fun. It takes place after the end of Z. It’s a separate thing from Super and GT is non canon (kind of?), but it’s definitely worth the watch even if it does have its inconsistent moments when it comes to power scaling like Goku struggling to hold a building that one time 😒

One of my favorite things about SSJ4 Gogeta is his normal attacks he doesn't use his hands at all. He kicks while having his arms folded in front of him and occasionally throws an elbow. I also like his bright red hair. Baby is also an alien that was part of a race the saiyans killed. Can't remember the name. He I believe is weak by himself, or can't fight at all, and needs to possess bodies. He needs cuts or wounds to hop into.

Goku got turned back into a kid via a dragonball wish. So he's still mentally the Goku you know and love, just in a kid's body. Baby was a being created by a race who who were defeated by the old warmongering saiyans and he possses Vegeta's body. GT has a set of Shenron antagonists that correspond to each dragonball, and Omega Shenron was the ultimate version of them. GT has a bunch of weakness in the writtings for sure, it's not BAD. HAving started Dragon Ball with Dragon Ball and on Dragon Ball Z, I can see that they tried to go back to a more adventure type of story which some can find fun, I know I did, but it lacked a lot of the whimsy that the OG serie had, which is most likely why GT is worst than DB and because it somewhat failed at it, it also displeased the most fighting centric fan of DBZ. I guess it's a case of "trying to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one." I still find GT fun, and the end is just amazing.

So to explain Baby and Syn/Omega Shenron, keep in mind they are both great concepts, but poorly executed Baby is a parasitic lifeform created by a race called the Tuffles, who were at war with the Saiyans for control over the planet, the Saiyans won and Baby seeks revenge by taking over the Entire Planet and it's people Syn and Omega Shenron, or the Shadow Dragons, over the massive overuse of the Dragon Balls have caused them to be corrupted and each Ball taking on Dragon Avatars, turning the show's prized MacGuffin into the final Villain, with Syn representing the One Star Ball would later swallow the rest of the Seven becoming Omega Shenron

One of the Xenoverse games (The first one I think) pretty much states that GT is alternate timeline created when Future Trunks used the Time Machine. Which is a pretty cool explanation because GT can’t exist in the same timeline as Super

GT is.....intresting...its the Black Sheep of the dragon ball series and takes place after Z. Its not cannon anymore thanks to Super tho. Some parts of GT is good but most of it is boring and back to back arcs of pure filler. If you do react to it a list of needed episode along with some good filler would be a must or else you'll drop it on the first Arc lol. Yes it can get that bad. I do think there is some good to GT and some aspects of it I like wayyy better than Super. I would be intrested hearing your opinion on if you do choose to react to it one day.

If u want to know about GT, it isn't canon anymore, but it takes place after the last few episodes of z when goku left to train uub, goku gets turned into a kid by the pillaf gang on accident and baby is like a alien parasite that controls vegeta for a bit, not sure if id recommend watching it tho it has its ups and downs lol, but its up to u guys.

Baby is basically Goku Black before he was a thing. This is why I always say Super is kind of going back to old stuff half the time. I remember when I first saw Sayjin God I though it was going to become SSj4. SSj4 is way cooler in both design and concept since the idea is that Goku is mastering his great ape form and it becomes this. Great Ape Baby is him trying to copy Goku with Vegeta's body but he was unable to. Super does sort of call back to this in it's own way but that's spoiler territory for now. I'll just say I don't know if they'll do it but it's not impossible. The main writer is still alive though and is said to be a real fan of old DB stuff so chances are he wants to make SSj4 a real thing.

GT is a non canon continuation of the dragon ball story made by Toei animation to capitalize off the success of Dragon Ball Z. Outside of a few character designs, Toriyama had no involvement in the story or production, which is why its quality is subpar compared to the other series. However the opening theme and the design of super saiyan 4 are fantastic

If you guys do end up watching GT its pretty dragged out in the start with the Black Star saga so idk maybe you guys watch the first 2 episodes then skip to like episode 17 and thats when the true first arc starts. Buuuuut if you guys don't mind going through all of GT since it has funny moments and stuff then I don't think any of us will mind lmao its a win win for us if you guys do react to it😂

He is amorphous, so entered Vegeta's bloodstream and took control of him Due to overuse of the Dragon Balls, they became corrupted and spawned seven Shadow Dragons. Syn Shenron absorbed the Dragon Balls after the other six dragons had been defeated and possesses all the reality-shaping power of Shenron I don't recommend posting whole episode reactions to GT and just post highlights from groups of episodes. The consensus of GT is that it had great ideas but was really poorly executed.

GT has one of the best sountrack out of all the dragon ball series, one of its few redeeming qualities, shame funimation took it out and replaced it with the most stale and generic music ever. No Abba music for dub watchers 😆

The most common opinion about GT is, that it's best part is when it is finally over. Both in an ironic and unironic way. The ending is beautiful and a tribute to Dragonball. The rest is... Mostly bad.

Indeed GT as a whole is sub par, but it's ending was a perfect goodbye to Goku.
