Thanks for doing this one and yesterday's "Dai The Flu", I know I was heavily requesting them and happy they made it. I really wanted you to hear this one as it shows how even on their first album, they were much more varied and experimental than many of their peers were at the time. You can clearly hear the influence of bands like The Cure here in the atmospheric verses, and the very shoe-gazey second half of the song is reminiscent of the band Hum and the build up with the guitar effects has a very Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins feel. It's a nice taste of the potential that lay ahead.

Been enjoying your reactions! If you’re still going with Deftones check out “No ordinary love” it’s a cover from 80-90’s pop r&b singer Sade (pronounced Shaw-day)! If you’re burnt out on Deftones check out the Mars Volta “the widow” or “Drunkship of Lanterns” they’re from El Paso and they’ve got this Latin rock vibe. Pretty cool.

In staying consistent with honesty about what I have or haven’t heard unfortunately I’m familiar with most of Slipknot’s music so can’t do authentic reactions to a lot of it, I could do live performances or reviews/breakdowns if people wanted that in the future :) also mudvayne I have only heard 2-3 songs so I’ll definitely be checking them out on the channel, thx for the suggestions!
