A lot of Deftones songs are about sex. Chino likes to sing about it with masked lyrics. This is song is all about getting down in the ride with your special partner, your passenger. You gotta check out more Deftones. They started out in the small bars and clubs in California around the time Korn was doing the same in California back in the early/mid 90s.

I feel compelled to comment on reactions to this song and people usually misinterpret the meaning. If I recall correctly its about Chinos car, he fucking loves his Camaro, hes the 'passenger'. The sexual tones are secondary as with almost every other Deftones song lol
