Using the r60m in head on with any phantom (E, S, J and the british ones) is incredibly effective, if you manage to fire it within 1 kilometer there's a big chance the missile will connect, works against other aircraft too but with less sucess. Good video btw

The Mig21 is really fun. I actually like the fact that it loses speed so fast because I can slow down really quickly when I need to. Also, that makes it super maneuverable, especially in the 1 circle fight.

If the Mig21bis had HMD, it would probably be my favorite jet in game. I normally run 2x R3Rs for the usual suspects (less than 30 counter measures means no chaff) but the speed bleed needed to get a lock with the R60s gets me killed more than anything else.

R3R is just a sidewinder B, with an unlocked seeker, flare resistant that you can shoot it in head-on. It's only 10g so it's avoidable if target has energy and notices it, and side-shots are mostly nope and if you're not in a head-on it can somewhat work but then your radar and lock keeping can become an issue - target going cold etc. It's the main weapon on my MiG-21S (R-13-300) and I'm getting kills with it consistently but it has serious limitations and it's not very good.
