Now they don’t even bother to make a good skin. The Japanese one was all right, the Swedish one not anywhere close, and then this. Change a shade of green, throw a Swedish/Chinese roundel on it and call that a new addition. They could totally have went for some chrome and shark teeth skin used by the flying tigers and later the ROC and USA air, idk like Tex Hill’s p-51b, which for record was a grayish green(still better than this) with some intimidating red eyes for the shark. Allied pilots in China were in charge of painting their own sharks, many being unique, badass, and feel fun to lay hands upon. i.e. p-40m “Shirley” or “Miss Julie”with the long fangs, or Wang Kuangfu’s p-40n, or the p-40 “Nipponese Nemesis”. With the already in game Chinese p-40e, maybe the “Rose Marie” flown by lt. Robert Mooney who, after downing a ki-43 in a headon above the township of Xiangyun, refused to bail out from his damaged plane and chose to fly away from the populated area so his aircraft didn’t kill anyone as it crashed. This resulted in his head injury when parachuting and later his death, and such heroic act was witnessed by those Chinese civilians who in gratitude established a memorial for him. Now look at the Chinese p-40e in game, which during its 5 years as a playable got no skins but its original boring half-completed (like every other aircraft in game) skin. With the current pace wt is at, pistons are just going to get worse. No actual new wwii planes added, and the copy-paste gets increasingly less sincere and more……how could I describe it? More copy-paste.

@@jakobc.2558 Yes, it is. However 20 mins on most other fighters is around 170-180kg. So the actual added weight difference between 20 and 30 mins isn't actually that meaningful unless you are in a same plane match up. Fuel weight in props isn't really a performance difference maker like it is in jets where just 5 mins of fuel is getting near double the weight for jets. The weight difference in props between most everything 20mins to 30 mins is literally just 40-45ish lbs. In the grand scheme of things it really isn't that bad.

@@SA-ks3ex Not really. 30 mins of fuel is around 200kgs or 400lbs for most single engined prop fighters. 10 minutes difference in gas isn't going to change much of anything in props outside of close match ups when at similar fuel as you are talking about 50-60kgs or 100-120lbs. You really need to get to above 15 mins of fuel difference to really start to get a meaningful shift in performance difference in props outside of same plane match ups or very close match ups in general. Don't believe me? The P-51D-30 is around 200kgs heavier than any P-51C and a massive majority of players would be hard pressed to notice any handling difference when both have the same fuel load. Does the C beat a D-30 in a dogfight? In theory yes but the difference isn't actually significant in practice. In jets the fuel weight for 10 mins of fuel can go above 1,000lbs for a few select jets and is 500lbs+ in nearly all jets 9.0+. This is why fuel changes in jets is such a big deal. The weight difference in gas for the same flight time is bigger by a multiplicative factor in jets compared to props.

I usually feel confident enough to dogfight them and win but i don’t really face the best pilots so maybe thats why. In a dogfight if both were flown by competent pilots i feel it would be equal (the cl does have a much stronger engine after all) but in an air rb match I’d take the cl13b. High ammo count and kinda fun guns, incredible roll and amazing high speed acceleration and the fact it basically doesn’t compress makes it better imo, it can outrun it too i believe

Actually it is at 3.7 because "feeling of progression" as C comes before D. There are many examples of later versions of a plane being worse than earlier variants but at a higher BR because Gaijin wants to provide a "sense of progression" from one plane to the next.

i do not like the headon meta…feels wrong. the outcome of headons is always a lil bit based on luck. yeah, dont dodge to early…if the enemy sprays from 3 km away and gets a lucky hit and crits your engine or sets you on fire, you still lost even though you might have been the better pilot. i only go for headons, when i do not have another choice or when i get greedy and half to do some mission.
